PRESS RELEASE: Back Forty
A Beast, RefinedThis year takes the best parts of last year's race and adds in better food, bigger prizes and a course that's way more fun (and less of a slog). We're sticking with a three stage format with a rolling-start and self-seeding. Competitive racers can start up front and hammer. While regular mortal riders can enjoy the ride in a more casual atmosphere.
Registration is only $99 and 100% of proceeds go towards new trail construction and summer programming for the Indigenous Life Sport Academy.

Three Stages
Stage 1: Westside WorkoutThis stage gets the most changes compared to year 1. We wanted to minimize the jank and keep the wheels turning on the way down and across. More blue and less punch climbs are the name of the game.
Stage 2: Beaver's Epic Stage 2 has new start at the top of Beaver Pass which leads to a fun cruise down A Cut Above before mashing up 27 Switchbacks. So much good riding in this part of the course.
Stage 3: Howl at the Rainbow We've kept the best parts of this stage and removed the soul crushing traverse through the No Flow Zone. There's still a lot of snow up on the Flank here, so we may see this stage go down Prowler.
Cash Purse and PrizingThanks to the generous support of our sponsors, there will be a ton of prizes at this year's race. Plus, winners of the Open Men's and Open Women's categories walk away with a cool $1000.
