Intense Recluse Elite medium

$3200 USD
I've decided to part ways with my Recluse Elite which has been a fantastic bike for me but I've decided to go a little more XC. The premise of this bike is really cool. It's a mid travel(140mm) bike that can really get rowdy. It's got a slack 66 degree front end that's handled by a burly Fox 36 150mm fork mated to an X2 rear shock so it's capable of making park runs at Highlands if that's your thing but handles anything on the local trails you throw at it. This is the model just below the top offering which I preferred because it came with the super-wide Intense carbon rims on DT hubs. The frame itself is the lightest version carbon Intense offers with the carbon link and titanium hardware saving substantial weight over the lower models. I decided to transfer virtually all the parts of the bike I bought so this Recluse has an all new drivetrain, new brakes and fully reworked fork and shock. The frame is almost perfect and was alway covered in Invisiframe. In a huge bit of irony the few blemishes (shown in photos) were caused by the removal of the Invisframe tape but still the bike looks new pretty much. There are a few marks on the wheel decals from our hitch rack but the wheels are perfectly true. Ask any questions you like. Read the reviews. This is a perfect New England bike for technical riding and a super bargain at the price. New the bike was $8k and this is exactly the same as the current model. Thanks for looking. Evil Following size Medium-Perfect!!!

$4200 USD
I'm putting my Evil Following up for sale. This bike absolutely lives up to the hype. Closest bike I've ever ridden to meet the common descriptive "climbs like a hardtail" yet when it's pointed downhill it plows over everything in its path and begs for more speed. Feels very much like a DH bike on descents. This bike is as close to new as you're going to find. It's been fully wrapped in a custom Frameskin since the beginning and really not a scratch on it I'm able to find. I'm quite light so I didn't need to go burly with the build so this Following comes in at a svelte 26.5 lbs. Happy to take more pictures or answer any questions. Bike has been fully maintained. All pivot bearings and seals were done at the start of the season and both shocks were fully serviced as well. I modeled the color scheme off the Pinkbike Breast Cancer raffle bike with these custom decals. No problem bringing it back to its all black original if preferred. 2015 Evil Following M in Murder black Rock Shox Pike SA RCT currently at 130mm(I have and will include the 120mm and 140mm shafts) SRAM XO 1x11 drivetrain- shifter, derailleur RaceFace Next SL Crank 170mm- brand new! The B-Side: Sidelined
Injuries are something we all face as athletes but to have to come to terms with losing the ability to do the sport we love. That takes courage! I wonder if Marilee investigated one of the various forms of stem-cell injections out there? I just recovered from a torn labrum in the shoulder with NO SURGERY! It was incredibly regenerative and under $1k to do it. I read about folks healing up from even worse injuries than mine as well using stem-cell injections. Just a thought. Best wishes!
