Opinion: How Many Batteries Does a Mountain Bike Really Need?
@fabwizard: I agree, at least then you’d only have to charge one battery, just like a motorcycle. Down the rabbit hole we go…

Opinion: How Many Batteries Does a Mountain Bike Really Need?
Zero batteries is the answer. How many someone may want is a different story. But the bike does not NEED them.

Pinkbike Poll: How Do You Feel About eMTBs Today?
@recon311: “There’s barely a lick of difference” in the view of other trail users is exactly the problem. I’ve talked to eMTB riders who are also bike shop employees selling the things, and they tell me how they can jump features on the trail while climbing. If you think that other trail users will be ok with someone doing that, compared to the slow and obvious struggle that non-assisted folks are enduring while climbing, then you are clueless. It’s hard enough maintaining a good working relationship with other user types as it is.

Review: The 2022 Specialized Turbo Levo is the New Benchmark
I would like to know where in the US eMTBs are being ridden legally. Motorized bikes on non-motorized trails doesn’t add up to me. I have seen a couple locations that have allowed a trial period where eMTBs are allowed on multi-use trails, but that hardly supports a market that is “going through the roof” IMO. I know the trail management is different in other parts of the world, and the same rules don’t apply.
