Just in time to skip over the smoke and catch the last bits of sunshine, last night's
Phat Kidz race was down B-Line and Ho Chi Min (with some Phat Mammas and Phat Pappas out in the mix). They've been out of school for a while now and you can see it in their speed throughout the course. We had kids and parents from all over the Sea to Sky corridor out to race the infamous B-Line course. These racers took to the dust, roots, rocks, and berms with a certain level of skill and agility that might leave the rest of us feeling a little unaccomplished. They've grown up on these trails and they've got the photos and results to prove it… so let's take a look!
Sharing some last minute tips and tricks for the race.
Where the bikes go...
...the kids follow.
Blue Steel and Rock n' Roll, or at least that's what we're calling them.
Kitted out and race ready.
"Hey Dad, stop following me!"
Throwin' a few tricks in there. Foot out, ferda.
Watch out, we're going turbo!
Ominous clouds, but these racers were going too fast to see them.
Rock on! (there's a pun in there somewhere).
"Oh Deer!" Racers coming in hot!
Out of the darkness and into the light.
Like father, like son.
Who cares about results when you're having this much fun!?
