The Sea To Sky's fastest little rippers followed last week's Phat Wednesday track in the inaugural Phast Kidz DH race on Saturday. Kid mountain bike talent is blowing up in this region and it is now time to bring racing and events to the next level. Phast Kidz is all about providing a venue where some of the best kid DH'ers in the valley can compete on more difficult tracks than what typically get seen on Phat Kids Wednesday races. It also gives the super young talent a proving ground before stepping up into BC Cups and other competitive races once they reach entry age.
52 shredders hit the hot track of Ninja Cougar > Karate Monkey > Samurai Pizza Cat > Ho Chi Min with age categories 7 & 8, 9 & 10, 11 & 12, and 13 - 15 for both boys and girls. They threw down and kept it pinned through the dust during the heat of the summer.
Let's see the action...
I'm fast. I'm faster than you. Out of the start, the throttle is pinned.Keeping it low on the wood work.Getting up to warp speed.Parents on the gas trying to keep up.Not quite ready for the Remy line. These girls held it down and represented well for all aspiring girl rippers out there.May there be many more of these in your future.Top steps for the older boys.Born for it.Shred posseFINAL RESULTSSee here.
