With
summer coming to an end, and hundreds of miles on the bikes, I felt like I needed to break out the old trusty camera.
so we headed down to Cranham for an afternoon shoot. With a passion for photography and mountain biking, you'd think I'd have more photos of bikes and riders, but this is about all of them.
Working shifts and having to travel 3 hours a day to and from work, doesn't leave much time for biking or photography, or anything else really.
The Nikon D3000 is a 10.2-megapixel DX-format DSLR announced on 30 July 2009, and I have had it ever since the release date, with probably close to 22030 actuation's on the shutter.
The cameras low light is outdated, and far from perfect, with a fair amount of noise, not to mention the slow autofocus. I feel limited, not being able to capture what I want, and how I want it.
I think it's fair to say I wouldn't be using it to shoot a world cup any time soon. But for a 10-year-old digital camera, I can't really complain as it has served me well.
But I think it's time for an upgrade. I would like to take this further, progress and maybe even one day shoot a world cup or two.
