If you were lucky enough to escape the wife, and get out for a jam-packed day of bikes, bikes & a bit more bikes, then you were in for a treat.. (If you like steel bikes that is..)
I was lucky enough to get down and hang out at the Cotic stand, it was an absolute pleasure.
Cotic put up a fantastic show of demo bikes for the day, ranging from road bikes, hardtails through to full sus weapons
People were turning up constantly, it was incredible to see the love for the bikes and the company itself. Whether it was genuine Cotic owners, or people that had never heard of them,
they were super happy to talk to the dudes at the stand. Hannah
was in charge of the magical clipboard in which she couldn't keep in her hands for longer than a couple of minutes before it was dropped on the floor.
Taking notes of everyone demoing bikes and whatnot. She was doing a fantastic job keeping the smiles alive! Sam the Man!
Sam was running about the place swapping bits where needed, setting up the bikes to be demoed and just being the man in general!
Along with his great knowledge about the company, pricing, and general bike wizardry he was the man to answer the most questions for sure!
However, Sam wasn't overly enthusiastic about a camera being pointed in his face all day... Dave
was in ore to just hit the trails and shred what Forest Of Dean had to offer, but was stuck at the tent with other people riding his pride of joy.
Helping keep hannah from dropping her clipboard, and sam from throwing his pedal spanners, he was there.
Once the opportunity broke free and his stallion had arrived back at the shack, it was time to shred. Me and Dave headed for the skills area and got some snaps before lunchtime.
Dave even lent me his bike for me to give a couple laps on. We decided to switch toys for a few seconds...
Once the shreds had been completed, and the steak pies had been devoured courtesy of the wonderful cafe that Forest Of Dean had to offer, we headed back to the shack!
Overall, it was a sick as day! What more could you want? A whole day orientated around STEEL BIKES?! We all hope that to anyone that demoed a bike, they loved it as much as we all love riding them ourselves!
Massive thank you to La Cotic Familia for having me!
