Video: This Edit From Granada Reminds Us of a Simpler Time

 what a wonderfully silly and simple video. Old school, not pretentious, nice to watch.

 I read the title as "this edit from Grandpa" and was slightly disappointed.

 I loved my DMR Bolt Long, sadly it just wasn't long enough and I flogged it. Great bike though. Handled a week in Morzine and Les Gets no bother. I hope it's still getting a good thrashing.

 It was summer 2016, I biked from Granada in the late evening to this forest set up my hammock and second day started Trans Nevada trail. I slept just few meteres from this famous trail having no clue. Later on Trans Nevada I met people living and guiding in Monachil who showed me pictures from filming Not2bad. Even photo of Aaron Gwins' truck up.there at La zubia. So unfortunatelly never was able to ride it but I never forget those times.in Spain, 3 months of bikepacking from Barcelona to Málaga, wwooging meanwhile on organic farms. Spain and especially Andalusia is just amazing. Que bonito!

 goddamnit, my 2013 commencal AL1 was stolen exactly year ago. a homage! I miss that thing.

 "you don't need the latest technology to have fun." True statement. I'm still having fun with the OEM parts I was born with.

 I'm thinking about heading to spain for 4 weeks over xmas, any advice on potential trails etc would be great. Ideally DH/Freeride with uplift or access so we can drive up ourselves.
