That's not really much of a deal on that 26" pike IMO. That Pulse frame looks to be pretty killer though! PSA: CRC also has $46 Deore brakes!
  • 9 3
Not sure if thats a pair or per end but i got myself xt brakes $51usd per end through wiggle.com.au

Base level Scalp frames for £450 too. As long as you happen to be a small or medium person. Alas, I am neither.

k mate. Bit of topic but sure

Well, not really. OP mentioned the Nukeproof Pulse frame for sale on CRC, I supported this with a comment about the Scalp frame for sale on the same site. Hardly off topic.
  • 18 12
Haha, read it as a reply to my comment post thingy. In that case probably see where I'm coming from. You're right though, apologies. Human error. Can't see jack sh*t

The only one with real deals is crc lol

I dont know why Cambria is trying to sell that 55 for the same price as the pike. That Marz fork should be $250!
  • 4 2
^^ I'd only agree with this if the 55 is not warranty supported anymore since Marz company changes.. which I find unlikely
  • 5 0
^^ I'd never agree with that. And I have both forks...well almost. I have the 350 which is almost the same. Anyway, the 350 is stiffer than the Pike, almost the same weight (my 350ncr is 30g heavier than my Pike RCT3), and noticeably plusher. So i'd be inclined to say that the top level 55 is well deserving of a Pike-level price.

Of course that is assuming warranty coverage stands, and I have no doubt that it will.

 jenson has pikes for 599

The 26" pike is a tiny bit over 50% off. I don't see how that isn't a deal. I'm guessing they are hardly breaking even on that. From scanning through the comments on these online deal pages, I've noticed that unless the parts are pretty much being given away, no one seems to think the deals are good. It's sad that so many people do not care to support bike shops. I run the online store for one of the above mentioned stores, and it is annoying how many people will rather save literally $10 than support a small local business struggling to compete against the big guns. It also amazes me how many people think we have 100% margins on bikes, when bikes and accessories usually range from 30%-50% margins. This is why I cant understand why so many people on here seem to think these deals suck. 50% off a brand new fork with warranty is a pretty flippin sweet deal imo.

that 679 price is in canadian dollars too! our dollar is shit right now so that pretty good!

CRC has great customer service. However, I find that with their shipping policies to Canada, you can really get rocked with nasty customs/duties upon delivery.
  • 1 1
 yeah not good for us
  • 1 0
Ive only ordered small orders like a stem, brakes, crank. I ordered them all separate and didn't have to pay any dutys but I have heard of bigger orders biting people in the arse
  • 1 0
yeah bought the crc bike bag they charge me extra for the customs dont remember how much. jeson usa charge me nothing when i bought Bell helmet but that's because we have trade agreement with the usa.

It's purely mind boggling, I can't sell forks in the shop as CRC puts the price at my cost.... or lower it's stupid.
  • 2 1
I haven't even seen a pike in a lbs marked at 1400 though so really they mark it up than slash the price to make it seem like a deal
  • 1 0
I remember back in 2008 when I bought my recon 351's you could get pikes right out of the catalogue for under 900
  • 21 5
 Where's the deal?
  • 14 1
I want that pulse....is it worth being single....Yup
  • 1 0
 3400 for a yeti, nope.
  • 9 1
Industry Nine wheels say they were installed and used. New take offs are one thing, but installed and used is another.
  • 3 0
 Wow... That's pretty bad
  • 3 0
They're a gravity wheelset as well, so they were probably beat on.
  • 4 0
Pulse is a wicked frame, I have the same one and it rips.Heavy but built like a tank and at that price it's virtually giving it away.Totally killed the 2nd hand market but I'll never sell just ride it till the wheels fall off!
  • 4 1
CRC actually has a number of really good deals. Check their site tho, not sure why they chose these ones. Some really good wheels for cheap. 650b and everything

Checkout tghe helmet deals on Fatbirds, I just got a Bell Super 2r MIPS for £145 (best price I could find) and looking round their website there are some real bargains, nice find I thought I'd share Smile

Those FiveTen canvas shoes are the best FiveTens I've owned. They feel so light when wearing and stick like glue. Hoping the durability is still there.
  • 1 0
I just bought that 661 helmet of CRC. For 40€ you cant go wrong imo.
  • 1 0
I'm waiting for my pulse 3
