the ratio change to the largest cog is increasing by 5% of the ratio change to the smallest cog: (32/50-32/52)/(32/10-32/12) and indeed that takes a 25% bigger physical jump: (52-42)/(50-42)-1 the ratio change to the smallest cog is 260% bigger than the ratio change to the largest cog: (32/10-32/12)/(32/42-32/52)-1
