EWS Round 1 Tech: Crankworx Rotorua 2017
@stiingya: "Official" unveiling is rumored to be at Sea Otter at the end of April. It's definitely a 27.5 bike. 160mm front/150mm rear. Dealers have had spec sheets and line drawings for several months, but these are the first photos I've seen. I think Vaea Verbeeck was riding one as well as Jesse Melamed. Not sure about the rest of the Rocky team.

Trek Remedy 9.8 29

$4200 CAD
Selling my 2016 Trek Remedy 9.8 29. The bike is stock except for the following upgrades/modifications. - Increased travel on Fox 36 float from 140mm to 150mm - Removed front derailleur and added Shimano M-8000 11-42 cassette and 30T North Shore Billet ring - Bontrager SE5 tires, tubeless 95% life on front and rear Full Specs here: http://archive.trekbikes.com/ca/en/2016/Trek/remedy_9_8_29#/ca/en/2016/Trek/remedy_9_8_29/details This bike didn't get much mileage last summer as I was injured and also riding my DH bike. Incredible trail/enduro/singletrack bike for the Sea To Sky corridor. Mechanic owned so everything is in perfect running order. Frame has been 3M taped right out of the box and is in great condition.

EWS Round 1 Tech: Crankworx Rotorua 2017
@ratedgg13: It also looks like the Ride 9 chip is in that rear L shaped linkage instead of in front of the shock link on the current model. And everything I've heard so far is the consumer model will be air shock, not coil.

Wait a minute: a rider only wins $4k for winning a UCI DH World Cup stop?!?! That's weak, really weak.

2017 Rocky Mountain Freeride Team - Four Generations of Freeride
@Nicksen: 99% sure it's not a 140 mm travel bike. Everything I've heard is either 160 or 150 of travel. I'm pretty sure the bike is getting it's official release at Sea Otter, but if Jesse Melamed is riding the bike already, photos should be appearing shortly. Hopefully.

How do you get a fork to balance for a photo? Get a guy with long arms and a stick into the steerer tube (note the shadow, haha)
