2018 World Cup Calendar Released - New Venue
The UCI is spare parts man, spare parts. Get it together. Get to Asia, get to Africa, Get to South America and NZ. This roster is a European tour, which is great because it seems only Europeans and Canadians ride bikes that Mostly American's make (and the home of mountain biking doesn't even get a round). USELESS. But we should not be surprised by an organization that only allowed an African team into the pro peloton last year and still subjected them to racism.. Dear UCI. World Tour implies you go to each continent that is habited by humans, and let all the bike riding humans in teams also compete, ergo making your competition representative of the world. Cycling does not just belong to or in Europe. Fuck the UCI. We can do better on our own!

YT Adds More Sizes, Updates Build Kits for 2017
Great bikes, and love the direct sales pricing benefits but a couple of things... 1) "liquid metal" is kind of ugly as hell. 2) the Canyon Sender (DH) /Liteville 601 (everything else) 3) In south africa (go to the webpage and do the conversions if you like) there seems to be a local distributor. I cant fault them or YT for this, SA is a big-ish and growing market but our postal service is severely third world. So the local distributor takes care of that and the import costs (were a little protectionist still) and, of corse, his cut and the result is if I save a month or two more I can go down to my local bike store and pick up a nice Santa Cruz that in reality is not a lot more in monetary terms here. In other words the whole appeal of a YT is lost- directly sold, cheaper but spec'd to match the "dream bikes" of the world all goes out the window. But seriously, point number 2.

2017 UCI World Cup Calendar Released
@stretchza: There are MANY. Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru & Ecuador have insane trails, But probably not enough dinero to pay service to the UCI.. maybe Columbia has a big enough cycling federation with enough roadies for UCI's liking to host, but probably not enough funding as well..pity, some of the most insane, rough and wild descents to be found on this little chunk of space rock.
