Summer of Glove: 7 Men's Gloves Reviewed
I bought some Giro DND gloves and like them a lot, basic gloves with a lot of different styles to choose from and only $15. Fingers are the tightest fit Ive found, they put crease marks on my fingers when I first got them but after breaking them in they feel custom made for my hand. My old Pearl Izumi gloves feel way too big now. I recommend them to people who are looking for a tight fit and think fingers always fit too loose (fat fingered people will eventually rip the seams on these things).

Afton Shoes First Look - Crankworx Les Gets 2017
Im done buying skate shoes. Next shoes will be Adidas Terrex Cross SL, they actually seem to understand that mountain biking sometimes involves hiking up trails and a slick loose fitting skate shoe is a pain in the ass. I've probably fallen more times slipping on a trail while holding my bike than I have while on the bike.

Scott Genius 2018 - First Ride
Totally agree with the fork lockout comment. Every time I have locked out my fork it felt worse. On the road it feels REALLY bad with every crack somehow feeling worse than a road bike because it sends shockwaves up the handlebar, then when climbing the fork is much more likely to come off the ground and wander over every little rock. I just dont see the point and dont want a lever taking up space on my handlebar controlling it. Perhaps if the fork was TALAS and you could drop the travel on the fly it would actually be useful.

X-Fusion's $199 Manic Dropper Post - Review
Whats the point of releasing a 125mm aftermarket dropper before 150mm? So many people want to upgrade their 125mm Reverbs. I understand why 125mm comes stock on bikes because its cheaper for OEMs since it works for all sizes but if someone is looking at aftermarket stealth droppers chances are they want to upgrade their stock 125mm dropper.

The New Santa Cruz Nomad is Longer and Slacker Than Ever – First Ride
The blue and gold is fine, nothing special, I hate the tan one. I actually liked the crazy colors theyve been doing the last few years, I hope they dont go back to boring.

Ban the Berms? – Opinion
I live in southern Colorado and its the same, just naturally made ones which are extremely rare. I'd be happy to send him some off camber turns and needle sharp switchbacks, got plenty of those. Im so jealous of people with access to directional trails designed exclusively for bikes instead of just hikers.

E*thirteen Tire Plasma – Review
I use a cheap marinade injector syringe (without the needle), much wider opening than normal syringes. It just barely fits in the valve stem.

E*thirteen Tire Plasma – Review
Given how the bike industry is always looking to charge more for things I just assumed the bottle would be as big as the $15 bottle of Stan's, not the $30 bottle. I'll definitely be getting this stuff next time. ...infact I just bought a bottle of Stan's from Amazon and havent used it yet, if Im still in my return window Im returning it and grabbing some E13.

Pinkbike Poll – Electronic Components on Your Mountain Bike?
Im not against electronics at all and I dont understand the grumpy attitude of hating everything with a battery, I just dont see the point of it right now. Perhaps one day electronically controlled damping like what sports cars have could be really great, but electronic shifting is a solution to a problem that doesnt even exist. So far all the electronic products are luxuries I dont need.
