Over the last year, I have had the pleasure of riding, building, and filming with Isayah Chelini Dheensaw and Matteo Carter. The First edit I filmed of the two was the edit named just that, Isayah & Matteo.
It was everyone's first experience with the whole process of making a video. My first time behind the lens went pretty well, but there was still lots of technique to be learned.
At this point, Isayah had only been Dirt Jumping for about 6 months. He progressed the fastest of us all in those few months. In May of 2012, He broke his leg playing soccer, an injury requiring surgery and months off the bike. A couple broken bones weren't going to keep him off the bike for very long though. Within a couple weeks, isayah had built up a new bike, and in july he started to ride again, still in his aircast. Once he had fully healed, he made a speedy recovery, and was shredding the local bike park like nobody's business.
Matteo also took a couple months off from biking, he worked like a dog through the fall, and with it came his brand new Morpheus Vimana.
In a few days of work, we built a little step up in the woods near our houses and during exam week, we rode it almost every day. Isayah learned 360's, and Matteo took miniflips to a whole new level that day.
Going from riding tables, to sending backflips and 360's, these two have come a long way.
