Video: Analyzing the Physical Demands of DH Racing at Fort William
May 24, 2022 at 10:38

A nice highlights video from a great event, but there was no analysis of physical demands, which was kind of a bummer.
(May 24, 2022 at 12:17)
Especially when main title says : "Analyzing the Physical Demands ... "
(May 24, 2022 at 13:36)
We got click baited
(May 24, 2022 at 14:17)
: and the edit cut all Pierrons powerhouse into the straight line and his words saying gave absolutely everything and he was so much in pain that last part...

Ya they even started with that nice little Reece clip so I thought it was more than a secondary race recap. No interesting into about heart rates, no suspension data about how frequently it is compressing, no hyper analysis of the split times and key sections and who excels where... Nothin. Sigh

@alicialegett Can you tell us more about that title ?
"Analyzing the Physical Demands of DH Racing at Fort William" has nothing with the title of the video nor it's content.
Was it the wrong video? The wrong title?
(May 24, 2022 at 10:42)
surely everyone would bet that france would come knocking on the podium door (?)
(May 24, 2022 at 10:45)
Hah, yep. My thoughts as well.

I'm a teary-eyed old geezer watching Nina win that. Shame the Syndicate hasn't had women on the team all along.
(May 24, 2022 at 11:45)
she has a new fan here as well. that pure explosive joy when she was celebrating the win was beautiful

Typical RB clickbait. Cool vid but no substance whatsoever. It's hard? No sh4t batman, its a WC race. But how hard? How can we as mere mortals try to understand that? Next time use narrative and context for your audience. Jeez.

As soon as Kade got back on the bike after his crash, I knew he was gonna turn it into a party lap.
(May 24, 2022 at 14:57)
and let's be honest, we were all waiting for that haha (after being sure he was alright of course) !
(May 24, 2022 at 15:51)
Wait? downhillers are fit?? But I got into DH so I don't have to pedal
(May 24, 2022 at 12:17)

(May 25, 2022 at 6:48)
