This could have been me during the premiere...
Can't believe the only "downhill" segment of the movie was Smith and MacDonald riding down a fire road. Clear no buy for me!

I like to pre-order to cut down on shipping time...for my digital content.

So which service will stream it in 4k? Before everyone says no one has a 4k tv, even people with 1080p screens would benefit from streaming it at a higher resolution due to the way chroma subsampling works in video compression on these streaming services (likely 4:2:0). Also, there isn't a huge incentive for them to keep the 4k copy to themselves when we can't pay to see it in movie theatres (which would likely get a 4k dcp encrypted copy and seems to be the main reason the movie industry is dragging its feet with 4k adoption for home theaters).

Not sure why you got neg propped, I think the availability of a 4k version is a legit question. All moot for me as I don't have or want iTunes which seems to be their chosen digital delivery method. Shame.

Yeah they call it "A 4K Mountain Bike Film" on YouTube so hopefully a 4k copy will be released somewhere.... The trailer looks amazing in uhd.

You can get it from the good places too kit (Amazon, Google etc.), you don't have to give Crapple any business just to get it.

Thanks FF, not sure how I skimmed over that in the article... Hope google play has it at 4k.

iTunes? What is this, 2003? How about all the other digital outlets available. If you want people to pirate stuff limit its access.

rule #1 in life. Never pre-order video games,DLCs,albums, movies that are downloadable. Hardcopy. maybe. Big big maybe.

vimeo on demand should work (at least other films distributed on vimeo worked on any computer/device as you could download them an watch them offline). Don't know it will be available at the same time than the itunes version or later though
