All the best man (from pretty much every bike rider out there)
Oooh, and PB, could I politely ask for some information please, and make a request for the future.
The rules of this competition stated that:
"This promotion is open worldwide with exceptions. The laws in some places don’t allow Teton Gravity Research and Pinkbike to run this promotion, in which case the promotion and these conditions of entry are void in those places."
Very clear (ish); thanks. I would like to know though (I asked but no-one told me www.pinkbike.com/u/anthill/blog/enter-to-win-an-unreal-trek-remedy-98.html ) , exactly which territories that included.
Why? Well, let's let Teton and PB explain.
"I agree that the information I am sending to Teton Gravity Research and Pinkbike shall become the property of Teton Gravity Research, Pinkbike and Trek Bikes. I do not retain any rights in the property and agree that Teton Gravity Research, Pinkbike and Trek Bikes have no obligation whatsoever regarding this property (including no obligation to return the property, no obligation to use or not use the property, no obligation to pay for the property). I further agree that sending this information to Teton Gravity Research, Pinkbike and Trek Bikes confer no obligation of confidentiality or secrecy regarding the information."....
...which we all know (or should know) means that we are handing over an e-mail address that we will let Teton Gravity Research and PB do with what they will. All's fair in love and internet marketing; that is how it works right? Right. No complaints there. After all, we read the rules and accept the increase in junk mail. It is a fair trade off for the chance to win a frame... assuming of course that we do not live in one of those territories. If we did, we'd just end up with more mail.
So, PB, if you could let the users know exactly where "worldwide" means and list any exceptions to that in any competitions please in future; it'll save some of us in those areas not only time (albeit a little) but also future e-mail we, in all honesty, probably don't really want anyways.
And, of course, stop crazies like me from imagining obviously stupid, crazy ideas like... "Those territories then... they wouldn't have been "anywhere outside USA and Canada" would they by any chance?" Crazy idea I know, yet that is how some idiots might read it.
Cheers PB. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Anyway, congrats on your trek remedy man. rad bike!
