Made in Hong Kong

Hong Kong cycling ?At the beginning of 2010, six mountain bike lovers volunteered to jointly set up a mountain bike park in So Kwun Wat (Tuen Mun, Hong Kong) with their own money. They rented a piece of land and bought the materials needed for constructing the park. However, the number of attendance failed to reach their expectation. Being further held up by other rental/financial problems, the park was finally closed in fall 2010.

At the beginning of 2011, these bike lovers get back together again and have successfully bargained a lower rent with the landlord and the rent is now shared by eight to nine bike lovers. They run the park at their own expenses so that all other bikers can use the park for free. What these bike lovers want is to keep this one and only mountain bike park alive in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong - a small crowded city with 7millions people.
Sunday , you may find it"s hard to move your step at the downtown Mongkok or Casuseway Bay . And I guess you don't wanna get stuck into the train at the morning .But there are still many riders in this crowded but exciting city , how could they survive ?

Oppsss .... May be this is the only good advantage of a "small city" , you can jump into those MTb trails easily within 15 to 30mins by hire a van or ride the beautiful country side paths .

The track in the clip is one of the typical xc track in our city . Please enjoy that if u have chance to visit !

Out of those "downtowns" , HK government builds up some bike-trails system . Although it's not 100% covering HK , and it's dividing into "parts" . They are still the best paths for riding to work or getting some workout over there .
