Who says Josh Bender only likes to huck? He can build and ride sick trails too!
In mid June, Josh Bender and Rich Strang made a return visit to the Ellsworth headquarters, to revive a trail and begin work on new ones.
More details and video inside,Bender had already been there for a week working with local, Jason Cardillo, reworking old lines, building alternate lines, and mapping out a new trail, when Rich and I arrived. We were greeted by a sketched out line and a large amount of work to do, so we spent the next 5 days working with a handful of volunteers to create the flowy vision of both Josh and the Godfather's interpretation of the land.
Bender and the Godfather hard at work...
...And at play.

The trails are open if you help maintain them. Contact Ellsworth for more info.
That trail just looks really fun, only the road jump looked like something I wouldn't try. I think Dj Shadow's pretty good, but still maybe not his best track
And then Suicidedownhiller and PearlJamsocal have been out there, ESPECIALLY Jason (pearljam) putting in even more work...I'm in the video though (Wil White), so that's cool! And they mentioned a thanks at the end of the video.
Ellsworth has mad it clear though, if you don't touch a shovel, your tires don't touch the trails.
Edit: Just wanted to mention a huge thanks to EVERYONE who's helped, Luca (yes the same one from the front page a couple days ago), Brian Roark, Josh Nevelson, and of course, Bender, The godfather, and Larry.
Then, another thanks to Ellsworth for perserving trails for people to ride. It's great knowing that these trails will be there for a while, and I don't have to worry about putting work into trails that will be closed by some enviromentalist soon.
