There were weather variations from blinding sunshine to dense fog, torrential rain, floods in the pits, crashes, hospital visits and mechanicals. We had a blast with the best crowds in the world, rode fast and emerged from the whole experience hungry for more in Leogang. |

Was right near the start with my daughter, under the balcony next to that first little jump. My daughter was shouting 'go Rachel' but I'd seen her looking down and knew her chain had gone. Feel bad for her but still an awesome run to get third.

Watch the POV footage of Rachel’s run. She totally pinned it. Would’ve won by a good margin if she hadn’t crashed. Again not her fault as the bike handling sans chain had to be very different than normal. Pulling a podium at Fort Bill without a chain is truly amazing. Rachel is well and truly back. Watch this space!!
