But what is for sure is that Taiwanese and Chinese engineering has become so good we cannot do without them if we want to scale things at realistic prices. Covid has shown what happens if you try and manufacture a frame in EU or US from start to finish, it becomes prohibitively expensive. Is the quality better? I really don’t know. It has less of a carbon footprint probably since you avoid long shipping routes.
