Field Test: 2021 Ibis Mojo 4 - The Trail Rider's Trail Bike
@vjunior21: I ordered first week of August and got mine in October... I emailed Ibis and Scott got back to me right away. I guess they had lots of people working from home and didn't have it all ironed out? They should have at least given you a frame but from what I heard parts availability is Spring or summer next year even from big boys like Sram.

Climbing is fun if you’re good at it. If you’re out of shape it’s a bitch.

Field Test: 2021 Giant Trance X - Computer Controlled Climbing Convenience
@JohanG: I rode with a guy recently with a Trance that didn’t have all the live valve BS and it was a little lighter feeling than my Ripley which is 28.2 lbs without pedals. For sure a light bike when you remove the complications of electronic suspension.

Bike Check: Maxime Chapuis' Specialized Stumpjumper
3weeks ago I ended up with 5 stitches in my right palm after tipping over clipped in and putting my hand down on a small rock. I brought 2 left gloves by mistake and decided to go without. The last time I went without gloves I had an open dislocation of my left pinky finger. I'll go with gloves no matter the weather

Pinkbike Poll: Would You Rather...?
Old bikes still ride pretty well with old parts. You can't have the expectation that they'll perform like new bikes, but people were shredding on some seriously marginal stuff. A bike with a little older geometry but good brakes and good tires will still be fun to ride.
