Video: $3,800 vs. $10,000 Used Mountain Bike - Budget vs. Baller Episode 8
@Calebz-addicted2mtb: because they didn't actually do budget *upgrades* they made the bike worse by putting garbage parts on. most of us want to see where spending the extra money actually makes a difference not seeing what happens when you make a bike worse. this series could have just been max out upgrades vs spend your money to fix everything broken on the other bike.

Jolanda Neff Raced on 'Legs & Heart' Without a Bike Computer or Power Meter at the Tokyo Olympics
the reason you want a power meter during the race isn't to stare at it, it's to record your power to look at later. in the heat of competition you might exceed numbers you weren't able to hit in training, which is super useful to know, and it helps to put the race in context regarding where you won/lost and what you can work on in the future.

S-Works Stumpjumper FSR Alloy

$600 USD
Selling my 2006 S-Works Stumpjumper FSR. This is the last of the premium alloy S-Works Stumpjumpers and is quite lightweight. Running 26" wheels, Fox Talas 120-140mm fork, and Fox performance rear shock. Currently setup 1x9 drivetrain but I have the original XTR triple crankset and front derailleur/shifter components in a bag. Need to make room and time to get this bike to a new home. Asking 600 OBO. Thanks! The good: -Frame is in great shape and looks fantastic. I love the anodized brown. -New suspension linkage (super hard to find but brand new on this bike) -Brakes, shifters, suspension all working well -Newer 720mm bars installed The not-so-good: -Tires hold air but there is a slow leak. Probably needs new sealant -Mavic freehub needs service
