New Unofficial World Record Set at Mount 7
It was incredible just to witness this amazing feat.. The conditions these guys rode through was nothing short of my vision of hell, and they didn't let it slow them down one bit. I don't believe that I saw them take more than a few minutes between runs, and much of that was just for the lap photos required by Guinness. The organization and support of the event was unbelievable! From the support riders (especially those that braved the cold wet night laps!), to the food, hydration and smoothie prep, to the lights and camera swaps and charging, the mechanical support (Or chain lube technicians..? Considering both bikes required basically no attention the whole time..), the support and witnesses at the top and bottom keeping everything on track the entire time, all of the shuttle drivers getting them back up for the next run, the supporters cheering the boys on through it all. Simply amazing! Congratulations to all those involved, and of course, a huge congratulations to Reg and Mark!
