First Ride: Zipp Enters the Mountain Bike World With New 3Zero Moto Carbon Wheels
@mikekazimer: As much as I'd like to believe it, this may or may not be true. Worked with too many HR departments to blindly trust these statements lol. In any case I do hope future review will be as genuine! I understand that it may mean you get less samples and tests in the future, but damn, he echoed what we all knew to be true and that was nice.

First Ride: Zipp Enters the Mountain Bike World With New 3Zero Moto Carbon Wheels
@mtbrider119: my understanding is that its not really just the rim that bends all that much, though it does, but the junction between the rim and nipples. would have to see it up close though. also i'd be worried about durability. they claim at least one set of wheels made about 1000 miles. but in what conditions.. and my wheels already have way over 1000 miles with no issue anyway. I feel like you want 10k miles for one set of wheels, tested on multiple sets. also was it 1000 miles no touch? did they true them up? etc.

Review: SRAM's New G2 Ultimate Brakes
@aceface17: ive noticed most people i know dont actually like having too much modulation and prefer the shimano brakes. i dont really mind either but i can see the appeal. more modulation is not always good. the sram brakes feel like you need to squeeze them harder no matter the setting, but you have more leeway in how you apply the pressure. the shimano one feel more like "razor sharp" and if your finger move a bit too much you lock up, so in the end less modulation, but a "better feel" in many cases. at least, thats, you know, like, my opinion and all

Pinkbike Poll: What Size Are Your Tires?
brand dont have the size they spec. 2.3 can be really 2.2 or 2.4 and most ppl dont know this. then its also diff on a dh or trail or xc bike. i got 2.35 measured on my trail bike and thats the max ill go because its already noticeably more effort to pedal than 2.2 or 2.1 but its nicer to ride. on a dh bike or with a lift id happily go 2.5 or 2.6. on a emtb too.
