I’m selling a new Orbea Rallon frame. This was ranked as one of the best 650b enduro bikes around by Dirt and various other publications, with a nice slack head angle and super low bottom bracket it descends superbly but is still climbs really well. The frame is a size large which will suit someone around 6' tall The frame itself is a brand new warranty replacement for my previous Rallon frame, which required a new chainstay. It has never been ridden and as such is immaculate. This was supplied as frame-only without a shock so the frame is fitted with the Float X Evol from my previous frame. This has been used, but was serviced last year by TF tuned and a new damper shaft fitted and functions perfectly. Only selling as the replacement took a long time to arrive and in the interim I bought another frame. The frame retailed for £1500 so I think the asking price is fair, but will consider sensible offers. I am willing to post at buyer's expense but it's large and will be awkward to post so pickup would be preferred. If you have any questions please ask.

The REAL Story of That Single-Sided Carbon Fork
@jwrendenver: Because even the most cursory structural analysis would tell you that it is inferior to a conventional 2 legged fork. For one, a small linear deflection of 2 stanchions that close together translates to a much larger torsional deflection compared to two spaced further apart. It's kinda cool because it's weird and unusual, but there's a reason why.

Who Wants to Win a Helm Coil 27.5 Fork?
Perhaps this resurgence in coil forks is filling the void that Marzocchi have left? It would be nice if they come out with a new high end, coil sprung, open bath fork.

You are looking at a Cane Creek Double Barrel Shock, size 216x63 (8.5x2.5in) This is about the most common size for most Enduro/All mountain bike and was previously fitted to a NS Snabb but unfortunately won't fit my current frame, so is no longer any use to me. Shock a few years old now (can't remember what year) but is in good working order with no leaks etc but has a few marks as you'd expect from a used mountain bike shock. These are superb shocks that use a damper design licensed from Ohlins - takes a bit of tinkering to get it set right but once it is not much else comes close. Comes with 400 and 450lbin springs If you have any questions please ask

You are looking at a set of Rockshox Pike RCT3 forks in good condition, fitted with Vorsprung Luftkappe upgrade. These have 160mm travel and fit 650b/27.5 wheels. Forks function fine - all the damping adjusters work as they should and there are no air or or oil leaks etc. Cosmetically they are very good save for a bit of cable rub on the crown and some missing paint between the legs where my mudguard rubbed (which can't really be seen with the wheel in) and a couple of minor scuffs to the lowers. The forks have been upgraded with a Vorsprung Luftkappe fitted which helps keep the fork nice and supportive but with good compliance as well (have a look here https://www.vorsprungsuspension.com/collections/all/products/vorsprung-luftkappe-upgrade-air-piston-kit-for-rockshox-pike-lyrik). The original air piston and top out bumper are supplied in the box in case you decide to refit them for any reason Comes two bottomless tokens and spare seals that came in the box when they were new. New dust seals were fitted recently and steerer is cut to 205mm which will fit the majority of frames. I'm only selling as I picked up a new set of 36s in the big Mojo clear out. I'm looking for £350 but will consider sensible offers. If you have any questions or would like any more photos please ask.

Norco Optic - First Ride
@trialsracer: Yeti has a longer wheelbase as it's got a longer fork and a slacker head angle, but in terms of cockpit size it looks pretty cramped to me.

Norco Optic - First Ride
Strange that this bike is being described as 'compact' when the reach on the medium measures 445mm, which is longer than a size large yeti SB5.5c reviewed a few days ago, which was described as 'long'.

IRIDEFORPAUL - Paul Basagoitia Fundraiser
Heal up soon! It's shameful that in a country as wealthy as the USA that someone can face financial ruin to pay their medical bills, regardless of the cause of illness or injury. Access to treatment should never be limited by your ability to pay. People in the UK should sit up and take note and be grateful for the NHS.

2016 Turner RFX v4.0 Enduro - Review
A lot of marketing being lapped up here - just because Turner say it is long and slack doesn't mean it is. 'Generous front centre measurement' - sorry, not having it. 431mm reach on a size large is tiny (my old size medium Specialized Pitch was 445mm), likewise the 'short' 438mm chain stays are anything but short, being about 20mm longer than 650b offerings from Specialized, Canyon and others. I'm not saying it's a bad bike, but on paper at least the geometry is still pretty old fashioned.
