Review: Specialized 2FO Roost vs Pearl Izumi X-Alp Launch Mid Flat Pedal Shoes
Great comparisons. I really wanted the Launch to work for me, but on top of the issues Mike pointed out, I broke the crap out of them. Boa and both ankle straps all broke within 5 days of riding. Still holding out for a boa mid-top that works well.

First Look: Crankbrothers Debuts Mountain Bike Shoe Line
@gus6464: I bought a pair and absolutely destroyed them. Broke the BOA before I even got to ride in them, then broke both the straps on the high-top on my third ride, and then started having some sole delaminations. Was pretty bummed out. Stoked to try the quicklace version of these though.

Yup! It's mostly bikes that I've owned, my friends own, or I want to own haha. And Transition ranks high in all of those categories. Not explicitly Piper Down, but a bunch of these were drawn because I wanted to be up in BC riding this summer but couldn't be....
