Photo Story: Capturing Incredible Riding Moments from 'The Old World' Film
I'm still kinda bummed about the movie not nearly living up to the/my expectations. Pics are great though 3

Review: The 2021 Specialized Turbo Levo is the New Benchmark
It's not even the base price that's that much of a problem, but I hate the running costs of ebikes. And they don't age well. Not that it matters much to most, since the target group has already been conditioned to update their bike every other year. What kind of peon would ride a 2018 bike with prehistoric tech and geo! I have a bunch of expensive bikes, but that felt more like a one time invest (yes, they have running costs too) and they'll be with me "forever". I can just grab a 20y old bike of the wall, air it up, check some basic stuff and be on the way in 15mins. None of those ebikes is gonna be in working condition in 10+ years, but you don't even have to look that far into the future. When new "A solid 3 hour ride with lots of climbing and descending is easily doable". Well great. Does that shrink to "A solid 90min ride is kinda doable" after 2, 3 years like with all other battery tech (smartphones etc.)? No worries, just get a fresh battery every couple of years you say... The battery pack is $1000+ and all the stupid amounts of trash created just makes me mad

First Look: Crankbrothers Debuts Mountain Bike Shoe Line
I didn't "go through" them. I still have most of them and just lowkey like buying shoes.

@RonSauce: Sheesh. I didn't mean to offend you. Sorry. Everyone in the bmx world ran skate shoes for ages and even with the added stress of "braking brakeless" one didn't have to buy new shoes couple weeks of riding. Your mileage may vary of course. I did own and use fiveten before. They are good shoes, but the price is kinda out there and other than that they weren't that different to other shoes in regard to sole stiffness and toe box

Ridden & Rated: 11 of the Best New Men's Riding Pants
This! So much this! MTB-gear sizing is really ridiculous for tall people. With jeans I wear a 33-34W 36L and in my ~20years of biking I've never seen mtb pants that come even close to fitting. There are a lot of hiking companies putting out separate tall and short sizes, but in the world of MTB this seems to be an alien concept. Even more ridiculous that pants (and arms on jackets for that matter) hardly get any longer on bigger sizes, but everything becomes comically wide on XL+

You mean like the hundreds of available skate shoes that work just as well if not better than the +$ mtb-brand products?

EU is covered via amazon, which is kind of a bummer. I'd always prefer to pay the artists directly, but I guess I'm just glad that I could order it at all

Check Out: New Flannels, Gloves, Tire Inserts, Goggles, & More
Story of my life... I need 33/34W and 36L which is easy enough to obtain on jeans or something like that, but bike apparel? Not a chance. I ended up buying various hiking gear because those brands often have separate tall sizes. Still looking for some waterproof riding pants though :(
