Guatemala Mountain Biking: Part Two – El Zur, Atitlan, and Volcanoes
did a similar trip last year and this brings back great memories. There was also some big steep climbs and descents near antigua worth riding. My two tips are use guides and if you can't bring your bike the rentals are good enough for the trails if you seek out the right guides. Make sure to check the bikes out before committing if you can. Mostly older kona bikes.

You are basically getting a brand new bike at a fraction of the price. I will consider a frame only with headset and shock sale as well or trade for a newer small of extra small bike 650b xc bike. Trade bike would have to ridden first.

traded an old downhill bike for this bike a few years ago and it has mostly been sitting around the garage. Not sure what year it is but guessing 2012. pretty much like new with a minor scratch on the down tube from something that scraped against it.

Still have it. It is a cross between a couple of years. The main frame is brand new with tonnes of new upgrades. The rear triangle is a few years old.
