Video: A Springtime Adventure to Tweed Valley
7Stanes trail centers are awesome. And anyone who rides those jumps in the Glentress freeride area can attest to the fact that it's great fun. always friendly people around too. Great video

Pinkbike Poll: How Do You Survive the Off-Season?
I enjoy biking and skiing equally, so when it snows here in Scotland I'm happy. I can ride my bike for 99% of the year and love the other 4 days when skiing conditions are perfect. A wee ski holiday to the Alps never hurts either. Yet to take my bike to continental Europe but it's on the ol' bucket list

Looks fantastic. We need something like this in Perthshire. My inner monologue now carries a Welsh accent!

On Safari - Fort William Practice Photo Epic
It's really nice to read all the positive comments. Us Scots are often marginalised in sport so it's awesome to host a world leading event like this every year. The weather is nearly always this good too! *That's a lie, enjoy it while it lasts

Pinkbike Poll: Have Bikes Become Too Complicated?
I started riding as a poor teenager. I saved up all pennies to buy bike parts and loved riding with my mates. The reality now is that everything has become expensive. People on Pinkbike should be thankful for two wheels and a saddle. If you have the disposable income to buy a £300 seat post, I recommend getting on a rigid bike to have a blast.

Pinkbike's Burning Question - Should You Support Your Local Bike Shop or Buy Online?
I used to have a selection of great LBS in Edinburgh. When I moved to a new area I went into the LBS to ask about the local trails and scene generally. I got the response from the owner, "I've no idea, I don't actually cycle"! Not been back since...I suppose it's luck of the draw on the quality of keeping it local and you always know what you're getting with the likes of CRC.
