Trek Slash 9.8 XT - Large

$3000 USD
The time has come to sell this bike. It’s a 2022 Trek Slash 9.8 XT 2022 that I bought new in January 2022. For 6 months I couldn’t ride it due to a dislocated shoulder (didn’t happen riding this bike!) so it’s not had a very hard life. It’s the model you want in my opinion - carbon everywhere it matters (frame, wheels, handlebars) and a solid build kit. I usually change my main bike every 1-2 years and the new one is arriving very soon. This one has been great though - is a monster down the hill and surprisingly sprightly up a hill for an enduro bike, far more playful than I would’ve first thought. It has been used so has some minor scratches - the worst are on the wheels (mostly the decals) and the fork lower legs (again, stickers scratch up) - upper stanchions are immaculate. One or two minor scratches to the frame also. Some foot rub on the cranks. I’ve tried to capture all of this in the photos. Has been serviced as needed - last month it had a new chain, derailleur and bottom bracket as well as brake pad replacement. Will also come with a new set of the finned shimano brake pads for the next time it needs. When I replaced the derailleur I could only get a Deore level one in the timeframe (quickly!) so this is the only part of the drivetrain that currently deviates from full XT spec. I can’t notice a difference. Size L: I’m 6' tall and would fit up or down quite a bit depending if you like a long or short bike. The steerer tube is uncut and has a lot of spacers so can be cut down to suit. Bars are full size 800 mm so again could be trimmed. Spec is roughly: Full carbon frame Bontrager Line carbon wheelset Bontrager carbon bars w/ DMR deathgrips Rockshox ZEB select+ fork, RockShox Super Deluxe ThruShaft shock Full XT drivetrain (except rear derailleur) Shimano XT 4 piston brakes WTB verdict front, Bonty SE6 Team rear tyres - lots of life left. Has the downtube storage/tool roll. Sold without pedals Review here: https://www.pinkbike.com/news/field-2021-test-trek-slash-ready-to-race.html Full spec: https://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/Bikes,3/Trek/Slash-9-8-XT,34346 Any questions or if you would like more photos please let me know. Can ship within country if needed.

Orbea Rallon (L)

$2800 GBP
For sale is my 2020 Orbea Rallon due to leaving country. Spec is as follows: Frame: 2020 Orbea Rallon 29”, full carbon, in grey/blue. 160mm travel. Size large. Fork: Fox Factory 36 Fit 160mm. Shock: Fox DPX2. Brakes: TRP Quadiems 4-pot, 200mm rotor front, 180mm rotor rear. Wheels: Front: DT E1900, Rear: DT350 (star ratchet) on XM481 rim. Tyres: Front: WTB verdict light casing, high grip, Rear: Specialized butcher T9 Gravity. Drivetrain: Full SRAM Eagle GX inc cranks. 50t biggest at back and 30t chainring. Cranks are scuffed but rest was replaced this year. Cockpit: Nukeproof 35mm stem and Renthal carbon fatbars at 780mm. Grips: Burgtec Minnaar bartenders. Dropper: brand X 150mm with better bontrager lever. Quite a lot of lateral play on this but keep refusing to die so I keep using it. Saddle: Fabric Scoop radius. Sold without pedals/cages etc It’s got a few paint chips here and there but heli-taped or foam taped in all areas that would usually rub. You can keep this on or take it off if you want it shiny. Comes with all the Orbea stuff (frame bag and rear/main bearing preload tool). Fork lowers are scuffed but uppers grand. Would prefer collection but if you really want it posted we can talk. It’s based in Glasgow currently but will be up Aberdeen way and down as far as Lockerbie over festive period. It’s a class bike and has done everything from racing to all day mountain days. And it’s riding well. Wouldn’t be selling if I wasn’t leaving. Any questions, offers or if I’ve missed anything then get it touch. Cheers.

Bike Check: Adrien Dailly's Lapierre Spicy
Not sure they'd let you do that though? Or they definitely shouldn't. It's hardly a level playing field if you're not as gassed as the competitors who practiced under their own steam.

Rocky mountain Altitude 750 MSL carbon frame

$400 GBP
For sale is my girlfriends previous frame. It’s a 2014 Rocky Mountain Altitude 750 MSL, carbon with alloy rear. Comes with a Float CTD shock tuned for the bike with remote lockout. Solid frame and she rides ‘light’ so hasn’t been through the wars too much – that said it’s 3/4 years old so there are scrapes and scratches as you would expect. The top tube rubbed from her kneepads as you’ll see in photos but it’s been helitaped since we noticed it. Frame is also helitaped in other hard wear areas. She ran it 1x and I sugru-ed the internal hole but that will come out easily and will take a front mech. Comes with 142mm axle, seat collar, BB is in and bearings are pretty good and shock as stated above with handlebar remote – this remote is a bit bashed, the metal noodle thing has cracked so it’s been leccy taped to stop it getting worse. Still works grand and you could replace the noodle or get rid of it all together. Frame bushings all seem good. Also comes with a cane creek headset – bearings were fine when I took it apart a month ago so will be good for a while yet I would expect. Original bike spec is here – http://www.bikes.com/en/bikes/altitude/2014 it has the ride 9 chip so you get various different positions to alter the geo. Any questions fire away.

Review: Fidlock's Bottle Twist Uses Magnets to Hold Your Water Bottle
Top tip - if you own a Mach 6 Carbon in medium the smaller one of these (450ml) is literally the only bottle that will fit in there with the float DPX2 shock (stock).
