He is (obviously) showing off the a new helmet for his sponsor. Whats the point if you dont even notice the helmet with vinny ripping down a gully? I love his videos too, but he has obligations towards his sponsors and is just fulfilling them.

I was thinking similar; he really shows best with low-production dad cam and just riding, or POV, which is crazy considering how it appears to dumb-down the terrain.

As someone who is studying professional content creation, this has to be one of the worst "big" videos I've seen, the crew didn't know the rider it seems and they just had an idea that they wanted to apply to anybody, Vinny is one hell of a stylish and good rider, but the video makes him look like a basic speedrunner.

Agreed, they could have substituted literally anyone for Vinny in this and it would have been the same. Given that 90% of the video was still-shots of him in the helmet, they should have just gotten George Clooney or someone who is paid to be nice to look at.

Confusing video, reminds the style of Joel Ducrot's edits but in an even more weird way. Photographies are cool, I would have loved to see more freeride lines in these red hills or at least just more riding.

It’s either a short crap film or a long crap advert! A fidvert, fadvert, filert, something like that. Either way I’ll not be watching it again. And the product didn’t even inform me of why I should buy it over and above the competition. A waste of time. And now I’ve wasted more time writing this very negative comment????

Ok. So the main takeaway from that video appears to be that Vinny T can walk up a hill with a bike on his back at about the same speed as the rest of us.

Agreed. I was digging the cinematography and music. But I was waiting for the video to drop, kind of like an EDC song. It was building up and building up but then it never dropped into some sick riding and upbeat music.

2 minute video, 15 combined seconds of riding that was discernable. Most of the riding was some blurry shaky cam BS. Noticing this trend more and more. Just show me someone railing a trail with a clean, steady camera angle. I could have done better than this with my phone and a tripod.
