Review: Specialized Dissident 2 Helmet - Downhill Safety at an Enduro Weight
Wild this bicycle helmet costs more than my new motorcycle helmet. That is packed with features and designed to take a fall on pavement on a motorcycle. 500 for a DH helmet is insane.

Ibis Announces Lifetime Warranty
I had specialized warranty a full bike because of a defective headset/fork issue. This is on a 10 year old SpecEd Sectour that I had put over 15k miles on and completed 2 cross country tours on it. They asked what size bike I wanted and sent me a new Diverge. I for sure thought I was out of a bike, but Specialized blew my mind by just sending me a new bike.

And doing drops that they don't even have the body strength to deal with the impact. They all just crumple.

Throwback Thursday: Freewheelin', Arguably the First Mountain Bike Film Ever
@matjtom90: You jump on a new Echo Pure and compare that to say a Neon Bow, and venture farther back to a Brisa. All of these have different geo and all ride totally different. Take one of todays new Monty Mod and try a old school monty mod and the difference is crazy. I built and gave a old Brisa B26 for a neighbor kid who showed interest of trials and once that bike was built, it feels so obscure compared to my competitive Echo. But was perfect for him and in 2 years hes progressed so much- once he gets a new trials hes going to be a beast. Even the bikes in this video have bash plates. Its been probley 15 years since I've been on a trials with a bash plate. Used to think it was so badass jumping onto big obstacles using the bash plate like picnic table to over bar height. As geo progressed the need of a bash plate diminished as guys were making higher Bottom Bracket bikes and you miss an up and don't even touch the bash ring. I can now go well over bar height to rear wheel at ease that would have been impossibe or near impossible or with using a bump jump aid to reach the distances I can hit on todays trials bikes. The general technique haven't changed much but the bikes have. I'm like CW I've been a avid trials and competitive rider for well over 20 years now.

5 Tips from Ryan Leech to Help You Practice Like a Trials Rider
Ryan, you are the man! 20 years ago when I popped in a VHS and saw you in Revolution, (I think it was, been 20 years) and seeing Manifesto was a life changing experience that sparked my love for trials. I bought Mastering the Art of Trials when that launched and l still reference that video for new riders looking to progress, and for myself; because 20 years later, Im still needing a little advice with advanced moves. I got to meet you once at interbike about 15 years ago and that made my entire trip was just meeting the legend, and the man that changed my life. I've used your inspiration, advice, yoga, breathing, and just overall being one of the kindest riders on the planet into my own life. I get new riders stoked seeing trials, and will always help them. Ive built trials bikes for local kids who showed a passion for trials, and figured out a pedal kick in no time. Their families not having tons of cash for trials rigs, I rallied up some of the trials riders around the state to donate parts to me so I could build trials bikes for local kids . I really just want to give you a shout for everything over the years- all from a short movie called Manifesto.
