Cam Zink had a bike check where he said that high pivots suck for flipping stepdowns & tricking flat drops.

Nov 22, 2021GT Verb Elite Mullet (M)
$1250 CADPerfect for someone getting into mountain biking who wants a nice squishy ride, and doesn’t mind carrying a bit of extra weight to save money.
The only original component is the frame. Last owner over-forked and over-shocked it, converted it to a 27.5/26 mullet, and added a big stem.
Specs (**added/repaired by us**):
- Rockshox Pike 150mm
- Fox Float DPX Performance 140mm **with added spacers to fit frame**
- Shimano/Tektro Brakes (**newish 160mm rotors**)
- KS dropper post (100mm)
- Shimano Deore 2x drivetrain (**new cranks and chainring in August 2021**)
- 27.5 Stans rim w/ 2.6 Maxxis DHR II
- 26 Sun Ringle downhill rim w/ 2.5 DHF
- **Crankbrothers Stamp 1 L Pedals**
- **matching bottle cage + grips**
The drivetrain is in good mechanical shape after replacing the chainring and cranks. Suspension wasn’t serviced this season but still feels nice and plush (we had some work done to better fit the big shock into the frame). The brakes should be bled before next season, and you might want to consider some new rubber.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Nov 22, 2021Rocky Mountain Growler 40 (XL)
$1800 CADPurchased from Skookum in Revelstoke last spring and ridden for one season.
This bike is stupidly capable, and is perfect for a new rider who wants to get a bit rowdy or an experienced rider who misses the hardtail life.
I rode it hard, but cared for it well with frequent maintenance, cleaning, and shop visits.
Original specs here: https://ca.bikes.com/products/growler-40-21
Bike is mostly stock (**upgrades/work**):
- Suntour Raidon 34 140mm (**serviced by Shred Shed Kelowna Oct 1st**)
- Tektro HD-M285 Brakes
- **Shimano SM-RT64 180mm Rotors**
- Shimano Deore 12spd drivetrain
- WTB ST i30 TCS 2.0 rims (**set up tubeless**)
- WTB Vigilante / Trail Boss 2.6 tires
- Rocky Toonie dropper post
- **Crankbrothers Stamp 1 Large Pedals**
- **bottle cage**
A few cosmetic dings on the frame and cranks, but in good mechanical condition. Just cleaned and lubed the drivetrain for the winter and replaced the rear brake pads. Brakes could probably use a bleed before next season. I have receipts for all maintenance, let me know if you have any questions!
