Forget E-Bikes, the Dnsys Exoskelton Motorizes Your Body
I won’t rest until there’s an e-bike race where all competitors are wearing e-pants and injecting enough steroids to kill a rhinoceros. The pinnacle of human competition.

Sunday Randoms: Weird & Wonderful Machines - Eurobike 2024
I was looking for an easier and faster way to ruin my bike’s bearings, but $60k is a bit steep.

Shimano Offers 'Race-Specific' Update For EP801 Motors

Wolf Tooth Announces New EnCase Pump
Agreed. I’ve seen multiple cases of people breaking valves and even breaking their pump because it didn’t have a hose. One could certainly argue that is user error, I’ve seen it happen enough to confirm its too easy of an error to make.

Pinkbike Poll: What Do You Look For In a Clipless Pedal?
I was always on flats until two years ago. Got crank brothers enduro pedals for my son and I. I ended up not really liking them, primarily because the pedal bushings and cleats both wear quickly, and foot stability relies on changing out the height of the outriggers on the pedal body, which changes as the cleat wears and requires taking the pedal apart. We’ve since switched to SPD.

Canyon Gap Removed from 2024 Red Bull Hardline
@Struggleteam: the fall to a certain death was 105 feet, which exceeds the 100 foot resource protection buffer. Brilliant!

Video: Testing the New Canyon Gap at Red Bull Hardline Wales 2024
I’m fine with crazy big features and pushing boundaries, but at the end of the day this is mountain biking and the features should be made out of the existing terrain. A giant metal ramp is Evel Knievel type stuff that can be performed in a Walmart parking lot. Hardline has jumped the shark and become a traveling circus.

Review: SeaSucker Talon Bike Rack - Does It Suck?
I wonder how long the suction cups will last. Rubber and UV rays/heat don’t play well together. If using this as your regular bike rack, i would guess the cups would need to be replaced yearly in order to maintain a reliable suction.
