I am no gloves ONLY because I don’t like the extra grabbiness when I want to take my hands off the bike—no handers, in particular, are scary when you’re afraid the bars might get thrown off camber by a glove grabbing the rubber as the bar slides out of your hand. Think of it like the Shimano XT variable bite point that everyone complains about, but for releasing the grip. I’ll put up with ground beef palms once per year to have the extra connection and repeatability with the bike.
