 Goodbye Crankworx, hello EWS!

JK, she is a GOAT when it comes to biking. All the goals she sets and achieves. She is a true ambassador for the sport . Role model for younger riders. Good luck to her in the future.

This is the first season that Jill has done any form of endurance racing. She is going to be on the top of the box by the end of the year. Absolute legend.

@brianpark: The guy second in U21, should be Roly Kyme please.
  • 1 0
@brianpark: unfortunately he washed out on one of the last turns on stage 4, same turn Morgane Charre had a off on as well.

Always happy to see Eddie Masters in the top 10- the spirit of enduro is alive and well!
  • 4 0
The fact he's doing this after ACL surgery 6 months ago is insane
  • 9 1
Even Wyn in 12th is awesome. He can't sniff the top 50 in a WC DH, if he even qualifies for finals. But he is an amazing rider and proves it when he races EWS. Maybe this is the proper niche for both Masters brothers. Good work boys!

Pretty much thinking the same thing the last season as well. Whenever they hit an EWS they did well enough to surprise quite a few people. Most people seem to forget that just because they like to joke & goof about that it doesn’t mean they aren’t serious athletes who are competitive (even if they don’t act like it).

Man, Kevin Miquel is fast ! He finished 4th, 3rd, 6th, 6th, 5th over the last 5 EWS. Refreshing to see someone performing so well without all the media fuss ;-)
  • 3 0
He was sitting second overall after winning stage 4, bummer he got a puncture on stage 5.

I realize it's a home race for Fearon and that makes a difference. But this guy's time has been coming for awhile, maybe this is the finish he needs to take it to another level. Yesssss
  • 13 0
Not really a home race, l guess he may have riden the trails before, but he's not from Tassie.
  • 12 2
That's like a French person being told Estonia or somewhere is a home race. Australia is a big place! Great result from Conor
  • 6 0
They should have an EWS in Martinique or Guiana. The French would kill it.
  • 5 0
Jill sure can ride some bike.

has Ritchie Rude been banned from racing this year?
  • 1 0
Not banned. He voluntarily decided not to race until some other testing results come through (or something along those lines). He goes in to more detail on a Instagram post.
  • 2 0
 From his Instagram:

“With the 2019 season kicking off today, I wanted to give you guys some details on why im not competing. Believe me, its killing me not being there!! Unfortunately, my case has not yet been reviewed by the AFLD. Though I remain optimistic about the outcome of my hearing, I have decided not to compete in the upcoming EWS events in Rotorua or Tasmania out of respect for the AFLD and their process. I appreciate everyone’s continued support and look forward to putting this period behind me and getting back into racing.”

Just a guess. But I'd bet he overtrained . A little rest and recovery and he'll be back on it/fingers crossed
  • 15 0
He's been sick and is still recovering from the sounds of it. Wouldn't count him out.
  • 13 0
Looks like he finished 9th- so not a horrible result either...especially if dealing with illness.
  • 2 0
@snl1200: he won the last stage.

@rideonjon: the flu isn't something you get over in a week is it. 2-3 weeks would be usual. Unless it was misreported. One can recover from Man-flu in 24 hours.
