You're completely missing the point, there's a VAST difference between fan girling over McGarry and not giving an ambassador for the biking community the common courtesy after his death. It's not like there's not plenty of awesome pictures of him riding to rack up views with and it's not like anybody was demanding he got POM...

@tomcrowther to make sth clear, I do think that the emotions a picture transmits also plays a huge role in its quality. Some of the most famous photographs are not about their composition but the depicted feelings/ emotions.
So yes, if there is a good photograph of McGarry that captured what he stood for/ will be remembered as, then THIS picture definitely is a contender for "POM", but not simply a good picture of him riding. It should be more.

Since picture of the month is about which POD had most views, it would be unfair to bend the rules and make other things POM. McGarry gets a lot of well deserved respect from the industry, can't find a mtb'ing website that doesn't have a tribute to him. Expecting the whole industry to shut everything down is not common sense to me.

the 2 cam thing is old old school before go pro was around they were so heavy u can't just have one mounted to the side of ur helmet with out something on the other side as a counter weight..

These photos are almost a flashback to years ago when DH bikes with DC forks ruled supreme. Nothing "Enduro" about these pics (Enduro is very cool … just seems to be getting the bulk of exposure lately). All excellent pics and really any one is worthy but #1 is a great shot.

Remys pic, because of the light on the tire and the fork seemingly blending in the wheel is front wheel looks super bent. It's not, just an optical illusion.

Number 1 is a dirt road used by heavy machinery to access the ski hill. A hill in which they were completely digging up to build a wider ski trail, hence the surface being covered in 4" of dust.

Chill out.... Not every photo of roost and dust means poor trail etiquette.

Give him respect and decency man, A good photo is supposed to be a good photo, a good photo is NOT any photo of a certain rider just because of the story behind it. It's tragic that we lost Kelly but its about time to give it a rest.

Maybe you dont know that Ive been crying a lot since his death. Sometimes crying for more than 10 minutes. In my opinion all those 5 photos could be Kellys photos in a way to show how I will miss him in Freeride contesta... Give him respect? More than I have? Its impossoble...
