X-Fusion Now Calls Santa Cruz Home

X-Fusion is very excited to announce the recent move out of Silicon Valley, where we have run our USA Sales, Service, and Marketing operations for the last 4 years to a brand new R&D facility in Santa Cruz, CA. The move from the South Bay to Santa Cruz’s cycling enthused community marks a major step in the careful positioning of our brand and resources to a region where the history and progression of our sport thrives. Not only will this move allow for significant growth of our Sales, Service, and Marketing departments, but will also host the company’s entire R&D efforts as we make strategic moves in our future product offerings.

“Having our sites set high to only offer the best in quality, performance, and service requires investments like this one. The pieces are slowly falling into place and we will continue to position ourselves to suit what’s best for our brand and company growth.” States Anthony Trujillo, X-Fusion’s lead Engineer and Product Manager.

Conveniently, a significant amount of our sponsored riders and ETP (Elite Test Program) riders live within Santa Cruz County. The close connection with the riders who put our products to the final test has always been important to us, but now that these resources are within reach of our office the capabilities and efficiency of these specific programs will reap even more benefits. The beautiful redwood mountains above X-Fusion’s new office blazed with some of the best trails in the world will soon birth many X-Fusion products that you can expect to eventually see on your local shop’s walls. Our completely rider based staff at the US office is very ecstatic and eager to embrace the local cycling community and take pleasure in all the region’s amazing trails, dirt jumps, pump tracks and anything else that can be enjoyed on two wheels. As a few employees have already said, “It doesn’t feel like we have moved, but that we have finally made it home.”

Great work! Now that we have yet another mtb vendor in Santa Cruz, how about pitching in and making some more trails legal? The article mentions sponsored and ETP riders, they're riding the same trails I am only they're testing for-profit products. Makes sense to throw some of that profit back into trail advocacy, at least that's what I think. Anyway, congratz on the change and good luck!

Nah, the velvet RL is about half a pound lighter. Maybe you would, but I don't need low speed compression adjustments etc on a DJ fork, just lockout, air pressure and rebound.

831 is the area code in SC. Not talking about the Fox 831.

He's saying 831 because that is the area code for Santa Cruz County.

Ah, my bad! I'm from Canadialand so I didn't know that.

831 is still better... And I would definitely want low speed comp. on a dj fork. That is a huge plus for a dj fork.

@marshall4 - off couse Fox 831 is the best performing DJ fork out there. Trouble is, DJ is probably the most hazardous activity for a MTB fork to do. Just 360 trick is putting some much stress from strange directions that forks are just crying for sudden easy death... so having that in mind buying a 800$ DJ fork is plain stupid...

a DJ fork must be square headedly simple yet reliable, so you don't cry that much when it's broken. And things don't get much better than XFusion in that department Smile
