Video: Suspension Setup 101 With a ShockWiz
The ShockWiz is a great tool to help riders dial in their suspension quickly and easily. We’ve had riders of all levels and abilities who’ve rented ShockWiz devices from us, come back and tell us that the ShockWiz made their suspension perform better and helped them get set up faster than they ever could on their own. I haven't had a disappointed user yet. Not all of us have the years of experience and/or time to develop a deep knowledge of suspension and its nuances. And even if you do, the ShockWiz can help you get in the ballpark right away. Consider a new bike purchase: How many rides would it take you to get the suspension dialed in? Looking at the Number of Rides Last Year Poll, many of us are in the 1x/week club. Wouldn’t you rather spend that time enjoying your rides rather than trying to figure out what needs adjusting for your next one? Might as well take advantage of the technology that’s available, to let us do what we love. Full disclosure: We rent and ship ShockWiz devices across the country, for far longer and cheaper than any LBS: Check us out at

Fox Float DPS Factory 230x60 Metric (+SHOCKWIZ rental)

$225 USD
I'm selling a used 2018 Fox Float DPS Factory w/EVOL air can (Kashima) rear shock 230x60mm METRIC shock size Shock was used for about 3 months and came off a 2018 Canyon Spectral. Fox Tune ID: DF4C Shock works perfectly with no issues. I somehow managed to knick the top of the shock as shown in the photos, but there is no other damage or scratches to the shock or stanchion. Mounting hardware is not included, but I _may_ have some mounting hardware in my parts box that I can toss in if you tell me what size you need. Most likely you can reuse your existing shock's hardware. I will INCLUDE a 1 week (7-day) RENTAL of one (1) ShockWiz suspension tuning device to help you tune the rear shock. The rental will require you to sign a Rental Agreement as well as pay for return shipping back to me (~$7). You can learn more about my rental service at Price is $225 firm. Shipping is INCLUDED within USA.

Gallery: Richie Rude's Yeti SB150 - EWS Ainsa 2018
@PHeller: Yes that's what I got it for. Unfortunately even in that scenario it was very difficult to use (for me). It does beep at you as turns come up, but unless you are under 5mph you will often miss the direction change. At least that was my experience. I ultimately had to use my phone and the trailforks app on it in order to to get back on course, which is exactly what I was hoping to avoid! I would be surprised if Rude was using the garmin for actual navigation of the race course. I just don't see how he could do it light speed.

@PHeller:I have a 520+ with trail forks and found it to be pretty much impossible to navigate with it. Picture trying to ride the trail as fast as possible, then having to look down for several seconds to determine where the next turn is. Oops, you hit a tree...

I'd love to see Rude (or Any rider for that matter) try to change out a flat with a tire that has cushcore inserts in them trailside. Good luck with that!

Trailforks Now Available on Garmin Edge Devices
Late to the discussion here, but I'm trying to decide between a used (cheaper) 520 and the 520 plus. Once I have a trailforks map on the 520, will the 520 give 'turn-by-turn' by way of beeps or speech? Does the Plus do that? Or do neither do turn-by-turn with a trailforks map and it's just a visual map? TIA!
