These trails are not on private land and MTB's are tolerated at best. I grew up with guns and I like shooting, but think about it... What if a dog walker, a family out hiking or horse rider saw that? There's a time and place for everything, especially on videos like this.

Apologies if this did cause any offence Olly, but we checked beforehand that nobody was about before getting an airpistol out. We cleared the bottle up and went about filming that scene responsibly.

I don't think anyone's 'uncomfortable' although the local riders who work extremely hard to build those trails (there's over 30 there and they are sweet!) would probably make who ever threatened what they do by SHOOTING glass bottles in the car park where dogs and kids run around feel very uncomfortable indeed. Just think about it... Guns, be a BB gun, air gun or other, don't belong in public places. Pretty sure Josh's plastic and not-to-scale AK's amidst smoke and camo gear was a little different don't you? And it wasn't in an incredibly recognisable location. I guess the theatrics were lost and a gun is a gun right?

Nice vid, and hope she gets the sponsorship to go large, but the sexism is weird and unncessary - agree with Gav-B. Ride on, but don't sell out your gender - don't have to be a lad to drink beer and shoot sh*t, doesn't have to be "different from your average female riding video" to be awesome. F*ck knows you're a better rider than me, but ditch the caveman doing your marketing...

Some good riding there. What's with all the sexist bullshit in the text though? What is an "average" female riding video? Are women not allowed to eat donuts or shoot beer bottles unless they are being "one of the lads"?

Bex is a great role model for female riders (granted the gun and beer thing) but she does a lot for the sport and is a top winner. Don't know her in person but seen her at plenty of the races
