Spring Solstice sets out to document the culminating points of some of the finest mountain biking Spring has to offer as the tracks and trails here in the UK begin to dry up. Be that the shovel work put in at the local tracks, or sessioning back country senders down south in Somerset, Spring Solstice captures British mountain biking as conditions improve and we are pulled from the gloomy winter.

Episode One features North West shredder Rob Kennerley ripping some local tracks as well as getting some airtime in Somerset in the Spring sunshine. Episode 2 coming soon!

"sessioning back country senders down south in Somerset"

I wasn't aware Somerset had any back country Smile This video should be renamed "pretending you're Canadian in Somerset" with the faux roost/ skids things. Quality trails and some big ol' gaps though!!!

Better not let any forestry people see your video. They will have you for cycling through bluebells! They're protected

Only if they're English bluebells, the Spanish impostors are everywhere!

I didn't know that. Our local track goes through them too.

Usually if they are a rare species the site will have some sort of status like SSSI ( site of special scientific interest)

You can check your woods here www.sssi.naturalengland.org.uk/special/sssi/search.cfm
