Registration dates have been announced for the 3rd annual
Santa Cruz Super Enduro, a
Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz (MBoSC) fundraiser for Santa Cruz County bike projects, returning to Soquel Demonstration State Forest (SDSF) October 10-12 and once again generously sponsored by
Bell. 200 registration spots are available in categories from beginner through pro.
The event will cap off the
California Enduro Series (CES) 2014 season. Early registration will be open to those racing the entire series on Monday, August 4 at 8pm. To qualify for CES early registration, participants must have raced both rounds 1 (Battle Born Enduro) and 2 (VP EnduroFest at China Peak) PLUS be registered for upcoming rounds 3 (Northstar Livewire Classic Enduro) and 4 (Mammoth Mountain Kamikaze Bike Games Enduro) by Thursday, July 31 at midnight. Unused CES spots will be added to the SCSE general registration pool. General registration will open Monday, August 11 at 8pm. Last year's event sold out in just over 2 hours with participants from all over California, as well as New Mexico, Utah, Ohio and Michigan.
Camping and weekend activities include food and beer, evening entertainment, fun rides, trail work and demos for racers, spectators and other enduro revelers. Volunteers are needed and will be well rewarded with camping, food, beer and swag.
The mission of SCSE is to support the demand for quality enduro race opportunities in California, to promote the world class mountain biking trails in Santa Cruz County and to bring awareness to the Santa Cruz community at large about mountain biking and the positive role it can play economically, socially and environmentally.
MBoSC thanks

Trails are rougher than ever in Demo right now. The new Flow Trail may be smooth, but everything else is fast and beat to *hit.
No bueno for the hard tail.
