 So much going on here....

Casey on a Remedy instead of enduro weapon Slash?
Dude wearing Trek gear but riding a Pivot?
Micayla riding a bike a bike that looks off the shelf but pretty sure it isn't off the self down here?
A Cube proto that actually likes something I would ride?
An Orange that is yellow?

I need a lie down.

 You forgot Sandbagger...
  • 33 1
Rankin with ENVE rear and Stans front rim..
  • 24 0
It's a sign of the times, I ride an Orange Whyte... “War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.”

flag davixxx (Mar 17, 2018 at 9:09) (Below Threshold)
 @pool3yxx: never heard of her
  • 4 0
Craig Oliver on almost a stock Giant Reign Advanced 1 which is the lower spec build
  • 8 0
 Also TWO Enduro Fanny Packs!!!
  • 25 1
Trek kit, Pivot bike. Fox shock, DVO fork. Reminds me of that kid that pours Pepsi in a Coca Cola glass.
  • 77 1
These aren't bike checks. These are pictures of bikes. That's what the title should be. Bike pictures.
  • 5 2
@pool3yxx: Rankin is a legend. He can do as he pleases.

Also f*ck you scribd.
  • 9 0
Remedy is a great enduro bike, decent descender and better than a slacked out squish machine when it comes to pedally sections. The remedy has a pretty good record when it comes to enduro reaching.
  • 6 0
Since the slash is only available in 29'', the 5' 3''Casey should definitely get a better fit on the remedy which is pretty ''enduro proof'' with those new angles and 160mm travel. Not sure about that dude wearing trek and riding pivot tho...
  • 17 0
Don't worry. Cube will give it a horrible paintjob and everything will be back to normal.
  • 5 0
And no Specialized riders to be seen
  • 2 0
@taletotell: ya man.. Dudes were running fuel ex's last year as well.. Just with a bit more travel. Keeping it pedally is a huge plus for many!
  • 3 0
Those Diamondbacks look pretty awesome. Shame they don't seem 'em here. I got a Mason hardtail shipped over from the US and it's been a suitably fantastic ride, and looks great.
  • 4 0
The new remedy's are sick for enduro, the slash is only a 29er so the smaller remedy would probably feel better
  • 47 1
Sandbagger. That’s not his actual name is it?
  • 8 0
There was an old british spy series called The Sandbaggers. Was really good too, maybe his parents are fans.
  • 12 0
Also Cam Hill... Now we've got Sam, Bam and Cam Hill. Did I miss one?
  • 15 0
@colincolin: yes Don .... rider Don Hill.
  • 15 10
When did Santa Cruz get Soo fugly? And why does this guy rock trek clothing and ride for Pivot. Everything ass backwards down unda
  • 1 2
I thought that was Kromosom. Turns out Kromosen.
  • 3 4
 @indotrails: MAYBE YOU'RE MISSING A CHROMOSOME...i'm kidding, jeez.
  • 7 1
@fecalmaster: Damn, and I was just saying to myself, the SC's looks sick...
  • 2 0
 No. It's Connor isn't it?
  • 4 0
@Nairnster: no its sandbagger. changed by law.
  • 2 1
@fecalmaster: ya, not really feeling the Santa cruz rides either lately!
  • 1 0
@colincolin: you mean sascha bamberg, the guy who gave himsel the nickname bam hill?
  • 2 0
@Patrick584: I mean Sam's son. Not the German guy who films his face more than his riding.
  • 41 2
Casey's purple Trek is a thing of beauty
  • 66 14
So easy not to notice the bike in front of her.
  • 14 8
@Samuel-L-Jackson: Oh snap, there is an actual bike in that picture, thanks though.
  • 4 0
Reminds me of the old Gary Fisher purple!
  • 10 0
It's the best color way Trek has this year. And it's not available in the 21.5" size because it's the "Women's Specific Model." Lame.
  • 2 0
Glad I just orderd a Remedy 9.8 over a Slash 9.8. ETA on Slash is late may F that Smile
  • 2 2
Casey herself is a thing of beauty
  • 20 2
The saddle position on that last red Trek is pretty funny, santa cruz are pretty 'bad' too - maybe time to steepen things up a degree or two so riders dont have to slam the saddle foward on its rails and still sit over the rear axle.
  • 2 1
 75 is the min.
  • 6 1
Yeah they screwed up giving the Hightower LT a 73.8 STA.
  • 2 0
And what about that Patrol with so much space for a longer dropper and 20 meters of post out of the frame! Just why??
  • 2 0
@andnyleswillriot: That and the pretty short reach... (I own one.)
  • 2 0
@Ricardo-Sa: what’s wrong with that? It doesn’t change the angle and people can add longer droppers if they want, which is great for having even more clearance for the downhill. Better than my Recluse that won’t allow me to add a 170mm dropper because the seat tube is too high.
  • 1 0
@andnyleswillriot: What I mean is 'Why is he not using a longer drop? I would use the longest possible. Nothing worse for me than having the seat right up my arse when going down! I love the patrol and currently is one of the top my 'next bike list' Smile Smile Smile

The recluse is lovely.

I really don't understand why bike designers haven't caught up with this yet! The Patrol has one of the lowest seat lengths and other brands should really take notice.
  • 1 0
@Ricardo-Sa: ah gotcha. Yeah they made it lower on the Carbune thankfully but I’m really just surprised things like that haven’t become more standard along with STA.
  • 21 0
Those YT boys look thirsty ....
  • 2 0
Not Leonard, rocking the Enduro Fanny Pack
  • 1 0
@aushred: Sonntag was good for 11th with that Fanny Pack and low spec budget YT.
  • 15 0
Fuel trek kit on a pivot hmmmm thats a tiny bit weird
  • 1 0
 Lol first thing I thought
  • 14 1
Regular Hightower, Hightower LT, and a Nomad. So what the hell kind of course was this? Haha
  • 24 1
Looks like people are just bringing whatever bike they like riding - which is cool in a way.
  • 2 1
they all ride fairly similarly, in my experience...
  • 1 0
 @sosburn: that's not the point
  • 15 1
  Micayla Gatto!
  • 12 1
Even just stood still, those bikes are a spectacle. Even Cube have stepped it up!
  • 10 0
 Only 3 coil shocks
and
14 water bottles

There's something interesting going on... )
  • 12 1
transition should make a special pinkbike edition pa-TROLL.
  • 24 15
Why neg rep someone for noticing that Intense names bikes after guns?
Is f*cking stupid to name a bike in reference to guns.
  • 19 9
 Such a Canadian
  • 13 3
 @scary1: thank you
  • 3 4
 Not if u like guns.
  • 5 0
I would like to point out that there were at least 9 bikes that were sporting Fox Elite stanchion tubes rather than the Fox Factory Kashima coating. Now what's going on inside those black stanchions could be radically different than "Elite" internals but nevertheless, looks like "Kash" isn't always king Smile
  • 10 2
It's funny that "enduro" bikes have evolved into a category of bike that is mostly not used by enduro racers.
  • 3 2
how. Pretty much every single one was an enduro. Except maybe the transition Scout but still is basically an enduro.
  • 6 1
Apart from most of these bikes looking like copies of one another that pic with Micayla Gatto is the best! You can tell she really enjoys biking Smile
  • 6 2
How ugly are those xxl frames with L riders?
Brands are so concerned in looking for new standarts that forget to adjust sizing.
  • 5 1
XXL frames that fit L riders implies they really aren't XXL frames...Stop making BMX sized frames!
  • 5 0
When it comes to water bottles, these photos were more informative than any pinkbike review has ever been.
  • 5 0
Everyone without a front fender needs to rethink there Enduro life decisions.
  • 5 0
 Hightowers with Kashima-less Fox. Props!!
  • 2 1
Somebody is trolling with that picture of Valentin and his orange.

The orange is yellow. Ok, we call that a lemon
The hope kit?
The E13 front rim with a Maxxis DH
The whatever back rim with a schwalbe MM
The weird fanny hydration pack that is way too tight.

Look I’m sure he shreds, but this picture is too funny
  • 3 0
 That's the french touch !
  • 4 0
Keep an eye on Brady Stone, that kid is going places.
  • 4 0
Daniel Cobb's Minions are sooooo wide..
  • 5 1
Not a bad start for 29" Spartan. Smile
  • 5 2
 That devinci looks sick
  • 4 0
Kromosen is holding a Transition Scout, not a Patrol
  • 2 0
Minion DHF and Minion DHR II seems to be the go to combo. Also Casey Brown is looking pretty fit! Interesting to see how she does in the EWS.
  • 1 0
 what widths though, couldn't see
  • 1 0
Man, a bunch of new Rockys in there. Instinct, Instinct BC (coiled) and Altitude. Seriously tho, someone needs to yell SC to fire their color designer...they used to be so good?
  • 4 2
Only brand-new bikes... Maybe next time will be interesting show some local riders bikes!!
  • 2 0
 Plenty of local riders there!
  • 4 1
That’s a nice scout carbon Laurent Kromosen is running Wink
  • 3 1
The seat angle on that slash looks insane. I feel like that would out you in a terrible climbing position
  • 5 0
74.1 in high, 73.6 in low. Effective is quite different from how it looks with the angled seat tube.
  • 2 0
 Some rad bikes.

Maybe a dumb question, but why doesn't Knolly have any presence at the bigger enduro races?
  • 3 0
that cube proto.... is that a 29er?
  • 1 0
Looks like Cube is going to a split pivot rear, lowered the top tube for standover, and incorporated the AMS style linkage into the rocker.
  • 2 1
Anyone else think most of these bikes have way too much travel for Rotorua?
  • 2 0
 Those colors are quite intense.
  • 3 1
Where can I get an Alfie?
  • 6 0
 Melmac
  • 4 1
 Not a single Yeti..
  • 8 0
Or evil, or kons, or orbea....or
  • 2 0
I would rather see closer cropping to see more details of the bikes.
  • 1 0
I want to see the bike, the 5 old blokes from a pub sponsored Frances James
  • 2 0
 Did I read alloy Nomad?
Are they doing alloy versions of their catalog?
  • 1 0
i thought it is really a bike check..but it is only showing enduro bikes pictures
  • 2 0
 Probably worst bike check ever.
  • 2 0
 Casey Brown-what a smile...
  • 1 0
Will Kaey and his bone stock Instinct was my favorite
  • 1 0
Campbell Baxter is very similar to Cristiano Ronaldo))
  • 1 0
Where is Sam Shaw's Zerode Taniwha??
  • 1 0
It looks like "size up" not working anymore
  • 1 0
Is it just me or is Sandbagger running is rear tyre backwards?
  • 2 1
Lots of 29ers in that list.
  • 1 0

 1 Rocky 2 Transition 3 Devinci !
  • 1 0
 Class! Luv the bike check.
  • 2 0
 Casey is a beauty
  • 1 0
 revolution 29
  • 1 0
 Majority with Maxxis
  • 1 0
Lt is rocking maxxis front, wtb rear. Wonder what rear tire
  • 1 0
Came to make the same comment, guess theres not much chance of slicing side walls and ripping off knobs
  • 1 0
36 out 48 tires, with about 30 Minions. It seems a pretty easy decision. DHF and DHR2.
  • 1 0
 @ChazzMichaelMichaels: what width though?
  • 1 0
 But that slash
  • 1 0
 New bikes are RAAAAAAD!
  • 1 1

 Wholly Maxxis

  • 1 2
 Red Patrol?!? Lovely red t.i.t.s

  • 3 1
