Casey on a Remedy instead of enduro weapon Slash? Dude wearing Trek gear but riding a Pivot? Micayla riding a bike a bike that looks off the shelf but pretty sure it isn't off the self down here? A Cube proto that actually likes something I would ride? An Orange that is yellow?
Remedy is a great enduro bike, decent descender and better than a slacked out squish machine when it comes to pedally sections.
The remedy has a pretty good record when it comes to enduro reaching.
Since the slash is only available in 29'', the 5' 3''Casey should definitely get a better fit on the remedy which is pretty ''enduro proof'' with those new angles and 160mm travel.
Not sure about that dude wearing trek and riding pivot tho...
Those Diamondbacks look pretty awesome. Shame they don't seem 'em here. I got a Mason hardtail shipped over from the US and it's been a suitably fantastic ride, and looks great.
The saddle position on that last red Trek is pretty funny, santa cruz are pretty 'bad' too - maybe time to steepen things up a degree or two so riders dont have to slam the saddle foward on its rails and still sit over the rear axle.
@Ricardo-Sa: what’s wrong with that? It doesn’t change the angle and people can add longer droppers if they want, which is great for having even more clearance for the downhill. Better than my Recluse that won’t allow me to add a 170mm dropper because the seat tube is too high.
@andnyleswillriot: What I mean is 'Why is he not using a longer drop? I would use the longest possible. Nothing worse for me than having the seat right up my arse when going down! I love the patrol and currently is one of the top my 'next bike list'
The recluse is lovely.
I really don't understand why bike designers haven't caught up with this yet! The Patrol has one of the lowest seat lengths and other brands should really take notice.
@Ricardo-Sa: ah gotcha. Yeah they made it lower on the Carbune thankfully but I’m really just surprised things like that haven’t become more standard along with STA.
I would like to point out that there were at least 9 bikes that were sporting Fox Elite stanchion tubes rather than the Fox Factory Kashima coating. Now what's going on inside those black stanchions could be radically different than "Elite" internals but nevertheless, looks like "Kash" isn't always king
Somebody is trolling with that picture of Valentin and his orange.
The orange is yellow. Ok, we call that a lemon The hope kit? The E13 front rim with a Maxxis DH The whatever back rim with a schwalbe MM The weird fanny hydration pack that is way too tight.
Look I’m sure he shreds, but this picture is too funny
Man, a bunch of new Rockys in there. Instinct, Instinct BC (coiled) and Altitude. Seriously tho, someone needs to yell SC to fire their color designer...they used to be so good?
Casey Brown on a Remedy... that means racing on a 650b after years on the 29 Slash? I wonder why. ACHTUNG! PINKPOLICE! FREEZE! No no, ok, sorry, wrong comment... wheel size doesn't matter, just ride your frigging bike and have fun, don't even mention wheel diameters... yessir, will pay attention in the future.
@SintraFreeride: yes, could be exactly that. And maybe, as I was trying to say despite the obvious risk to be down voted by the self-righteous mob, wheel size really does matter.
@andreabonasia: Of course, ride my kid's 16 incher and you'll see (sorry, that didn't come out right). Rider size and wheel size should correlate, but that doesn't mean one is better than the other. It's just about fit, and then you'll have a few outliers who prefer them bigger or smaller.
Man, the AL Capra is soooooo sexy!!! Aaaah, yes you can't fit a water bottle on it... *Ding Ding Ding* Shame! *Ding Ding Ding* Shame! *Ding Ding Ding* Shame! Hope to make it my future bike!

and
14 water bottles
There's something interesting going on... )
Is f*cking stupid to name a bike in reference to guns.
Brands are so concerned in looking for new standarts that forget to adjust sizing.

Maybe a dumb question, but why doesn't Knolly have any presence at the bigger enduro races?
Are they doing alloy versions of their catalog?
