 Perfect, Trailfroks needs more tutorials like this. In switzerland many people still don't know much about the huge feature bundle of trailforks. I would love to see more details what the difficuly ratings mean directly at the trails page. WIth a link to the rating spec for example. Then a short summary of all the layers and how to use best would also bring a lot more on table what trailforks makes so strong.

 Nice intro. We use TrailForks all the time for route planning and for navigating, especially when we're someplace new. The one thing that kills me though is the route planner (my most-used feature. I'm not aware of a viable alternative to TrailForks for this) which, as far as I can tell, after untold hours using it, is very hard to use because of two things: 1) the way It occasionally connects two closely spaced dots with a 5-mile round-about loop and 2) it's hard to see what you're doing if a route doubles back on itself. It could be all user error.... Maybe a tutorial on the route planner could be next?
