Kamloops Beginner Focused XC and Enduro - Tournament Capital Games

What are the Tournament Kamloops Games in Kamloops?

The Tournament Capital Games are a multi-sport games including; Women’s Hockey, Enduro/XC Mountain Biking, Volleyball, Soccer, Pickleball, Squash, Swimming, Slopitch, Tennis, and Track and Field. The goal of the Tournament Capital Enduro/XC race is to encourage participation in recreational racing specifically for newer riders, women, youth and middle-aged adults new to riding; there is a lack of events geared towards newer riders that focus on fun and competition, while bringing together a professional atmosphere where riders can truly explore Kamloops through a myriad of sports, recreation, and culture.

This event will feature a social at Riverside Park on Saturday night, that is open to the public and all participants across all sporting disciplines. Supporting this event is the Bicycle Cafe Kamloops and Liv Giant, two partners that sure know how a thing or two about fun on bikes!

* This event is run in collaboration with the BC Enduro Series. We want to encourage more people to come-on-out, have fun riding and exploring new places!

Race Information

Kamloops has always been on everyone's radar, and this is largely because of our dedicated volunteers, the City of Kamloops, our two cycling groups (KBRA and KPCC), Tourism Kamloops, and you can't forget all of our riders!

Special note goes to the Dirt Chix group in Kamloops. They've been getting women stoked on riding before it was a trend, and they'll continue doing it long after!

Here is the quick and dirty on what you need to know for these events!

• Open to any age
• Open to any sex
• Open to any ability level—trails will be green/blue/black (you'll be able to choose the trails/stages you want)
• Registration is $50.00
• Registration includes both the XC and Enduro! How about that, two races for the price of one!
• The courses are beginner/intermediate friendly.
• First Aid on course
• Food Station on course
• The event is run by the BC Enduro Series
• 30% of racer's registration goes back into the trails at Pineview!

XC Race | Registration and Staging

• Date: Saturday, Sept. 9th
• Staging Address: Kenna Cartwright Park
• Registration begins at 10:00am
• You can park right at Kenna Cartwright
• Racing begins at 11:00am
• The course will be approx. 10–15kms in length.
• Categories: Open Women, U21 Women, Open Men, U21 Men

Enduro Race | Registration and Staging

• Date: Sunday, Sept. 10th
• Staging Address: Pineview Valley Park
• Parking: Please Park at Petro Canada or Kenna Cartwright and Ride up. Do not park at the trail head. (There isn't enough room).
• Registration begins at 9:00am
• Racing begins at 10:00am
• The course will be approx. 15–20kms in length and take approx. 2–3hrs
• Categories: Open Women, U21 Women, Open Men, U21 Men
