http://cliquebmx.wordpress.comWhat is CliqueBMX? It's a place that I intend to post relevant parts of the BMX/Street MTB scene and a place that I hope its users to enjoy and contribute in any way they like. This can be by sending in photos of riding, bike pictures, videos, or anything relevant to BMX whether its new, or a throwback to the past.

My goal is simple, I just want to post anything BMX/street MTB related that my audience can engage with and be encouraged to be a part of the scene. I don't plan to change the entire scene as we know it, in fact, if I could feel like I've encourage just a small number of riders I'd feel like Clique BMX has been a success.
The concept of CliqueBMX was born about a month ago as I started my final year at university. Anybody in the same shoes can sympathise with the dreaded "D" word.. Dissertation. I had the choice of writing 10,000 words about something that I didn't fully understand, care about, and therefore have no drive to complete my task.
My other choice was to create a TV documentary, Radio presentation, or an online Blog. The topic was completely of my own choice, therefore, being enthusiastic about anything BMX/streetMTB related, CliqueBMX was born. However, just because this is a project, It's not something that I want to just do until my deadline and pack it up. It's something that I want as a long term project, a hobby.
Having been a part of the street MTB scene (but spending most of my time watching BMX videos) for nearly 8 years, I consider myself to have picked up on a few bits of what goes on in both BMX and MTB street, and feel confident to put back stuff that I have learned in the form of a blog.
What's happened so far for CliqueBMX? There is a running page with plenty of content for users to get their teeth into. The
instagram account (@CliqueBMX) has over 330 followers and a few regular contributors which I'm stoked about. There is a
Facebook Page that is inching closer and closer to 100 followers, and there is a
Twitter account (@BMXClique). The followers I have are fully organic, meaning that I haven't just added all my current friends from my current personal accounts, I have gathered them through means of working hard to gain interest. Feel free to give feedback, like, follow and share if you like. And most importantly, I hope you enjoy what I've done.

I've also been sent support on my Instagram page by Karl Poynter and also by Ruben Alcantara, which had me super stoked!
Thanks for reading.
