1998(ish) Jamis Dragon 26" Reynolds 853 Size L

$500 USD
I cannot remember exactly when I bought this frame. I do know I purchased it on eBay about 20 years ago. I think it's around 1998 vintage, though I am not certain. I can remember riding it at Perry Hill in Waterbury around 2003 or so. (I bought my first full-suspension bike, a Santa Cruz Blur, in Fall 2003, so I don't think this has seen many miles since then.) This is a Large, 19" frame, 26er. As a mountain biker, this is the lightest bike in my quiver right now. I haven't ridden this in years but did lend it to a friend for a few weeks who had moved back to VT during Covid. He loved it but was destined for a modern trail bike once they became available again. While he had it, the 2003 Marzocchi Marathon suspension fork blew up, so I just mounted up a (2000) Surly 1x1 fork. I've ridden around the neighborhood, and it feels comfortable and fast. I kinda want to keep this as a gravel/trail bike, but I already have too many bikes. The Reynolds 853 frame is so nice. I included enough images to give you an idea of the component spec, so I'm not going to list specs below. It's good stuff- mostly Shimano XT M740 series from the late 90's. The V-brake cantilevers are LX from the same era. One vintage highlight is the pair of Suntour XC Pro/XC Expert thumb shifters. They are so much smoother than Shimanos of that era. It has a more modern 700mm riser bar and a nice 90mm Bontrager stem. The chain is brand new. Pedals and bottle cage are not included. I prefer local pickup. If you need it shipped, it will take me 2-3 days to pull together, as I need to source a bike box. You will need to pay for all shipping costs once I have it figured out. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

VMBA & Bivo Collaborate to Support Vermont Trails
As a VMBA Chapter President (Caledonia Trail Collaborative), I second this notion. Our little chapter was able to hire a college senior as a paid intern last fall to complete a project for us in about 120 hours. We have enough to pay him, but we didn't have the experience, resources, or bandwidth to be a legal employer. VMBA took care of all the employment stuff for us. This helped us finish our project on time AND helped us meet our "first employee ever" milestone. Thank you, VMBA!

Trek Procaliber 6

$900 USD
This little XC whip was piloted by my 12-year-old for a couple of years. It is a sweet bike for a kid or a smaller adult. The highlights of this bike are a Trek Platinum level aluminum frame with Isospeed decoupler, SRAM Eagle drivetrain, and a RockShox Judy Gold 120mm fork w remote lockout. The build is pretty much bone stock: I have made the following upgrades: --Drivetrain: GX Eagle derailleur & chain --Cockpit: shorter stem and FSA carbon bar (Can switch back to original if requested) --Saddle: WTB Speed She Saddle (fits kids' backsides better) --Tires: Schwalbe Rocket Rons (I replaced the rear tire last season. It is fresh.)

Bike Yoke Revive- 125mm, 30.9 (Triggy remote included)

$150 USD
This Revive has seen light use, spending the past two seasons rotating between my 12-year-old's XC hardtail in the summer and my fat bike in the winter. It handles the coldest of temperatures with ease. The Revive has incredibly smooth actuation and slide, making this a great dropper for a kid's bike or a winter bike. edit- This is missing the Bike Yoke Revive cable clamp. I must have lost it when I took it off the bike. One can be had for $3-10.
