We woke up around 8 o’clock this morning to meet up and hit the trails with Carson Storch and Ryler Sturn. It was freezing! We started off the morning riding an amazing dual slalom course that is tucked away somewhere in the forests of Bend Oregon.

The course was super sick! Everything was fast and went into a straight tabletop jump then right into a lippy tabletop hip. Carson and I were busting off some maneuvers over the hip while the racers scrubbed the heck out of it. There were a few jumps after a straight stretch that were a decent size but had the mellowest lips. After a few runs Ryler told us about the Cougar Badgers that were running around, he says “Watch for them Cougar Badgers, they’ll get yeah! Cougar Badgers are just CHIPMUNKS. We each hit the Dual Slalom jumps a couple times then Kyle took a bit of a digger and broke his seat as well as ripping the top of his finger pretty much off.

We decided to call it after that and head up to a local jump spot called “The Lair”. This place was off the charts, like I mean one of the most fun parks I have every ridden and it wasn’t even complete. The builders were up there working on the main big line that flows into a boner log that was super smooth.

Ty, Chris, and I were at the top of the hill on a plateau hitting up the junior line that was super fun and had a few good laughs too. Kyle bailed again so we started calling him Krash.

Carson and I were looking at the RedBull step down they have there. We decided we want to buff the jump first. We went to go get shovels and then it started “snowrofoaming”, at least that is what Ryler called it cause the snow flakes were like little foam balls.

We had a long drive ahead of us to Cali so we chose to leave the jumps and go have lunch with Carson and Ryler. Then say our goodbyes. We hit the road about 2:30ish and settled in for a long drive.

So the next time I write about our travels, I’ll be in sunny California!

Thanks to Carson and Ryler for showing us some sick spots for ride bicycles, we had a blast!

-Goodbye Bend Oregon, I hope to come back soon!

Scott, you are correct Casey is in Sport - has no license or past racing history as he's a dirt jumper wanting to experience the whole Sea Otter. Dual Stunt will be fun too and then the Post Office jump on Monday.

racing experience has nothing to do with what class you enter...riding experience does.
  • 2 2
you have clearly no idea about racing if tht is ur view
  • 2 2
you're right....my view is of what racing SHOULD be. unfortunately, it's not reality....sandbagging is alive and well. if your rational holds, then in theory every racer should start at intro, correct? how many racers here have ever raced intro/beginner? i surely haven't. when i began racing, it was at the am level. had never raced before, but had far more riding experience than what would deem me a intro/beginner racer

you're right fugrus, i must not know a thing about racing.

just noticed you're 15.....maybe wisdom comes along with puberty in your case. don't worry, your time will come young one.

wow ur fuckin hilarious racing takes much more than being a good rider shure a good rider could come into racing and rape every one but then hed get promoted wouldnt he. but you cant drop someone in at the deep end and say here you go now ur where you should be being a good racer takes more than just being a good rider when your out riding with your friends u dont have to deal with an emmense amount of pressure, you dont have to memorize ur whole run and execute it perfectly under the clock do you perhaps just cos ur older and have a small cock u think you can lord it over folk that are younger than you even tho the juveniles kick your ass.
