Salsa Fargo

$2400 CAD
This was the Fargo that inspired the original Cutthroat. It’s a size Medium, suitable for people 5’7 to 6’0 What’s unused brand new on the bike: -New 175mm X9 42/28t crankset (with two new replacement chainrings) -New Sram hollow pin chain -New TRP Spyre dual actuated piston mechanical disc brakes (brakes aren’t even bedded yet) -New SRAM centreline rotors -New SRAM XX 11-36 10sp cassette -New 46cm cowchipper handlebar -New Vitoria Torreno Dry tires (front is lightly used) -All new housing and optislick cables -New WTB saddle Bike also features/includes: -Lauf ‘Gravel & Travel’ prototype TR29 carbon suspension fork. 30% more spring tension than the original TR29. It’s not so much bouncy as it is compliant. Toured 5k across Canada on it. It’s a reliable fork. -Chris King bottom bracket, headset, with ISO hubs (serviced 500km ago at the Chris King factory) on Velocity Aileron rims -Spare Nukeproof Horizon MTB wheelset -Spare hanger This bike has always been stored indoors, and several times was sprayed internally with boshield. It’s taped for tubeless (new muk-off tape), but is currently tubed with p-zero smart tubes. REASON FOR SELLING: Selling this bike is bittersweet, and a lot of money went in to it. I’ve often considered using it for many more years. I’m just guilty of wanting something new. I bought a Vaya, and eventually will get a cutty.

Salsa Cutthroat Apex 1 Build.

$2750 CAD
MSRP $3400 CAD before taxes Ideal rider height 5 ft 9" to 5 ft 11" Upgraded with Stan's Flow Wheelset from the OEM Formula wheelset. Everything else on it is stock. This is the original tour divide Salsa Cutthroat drop bar mountain bike. It is now highly sought after by riders who aren't happy with the latest redesign. You cannot purchase this frame any longer. The last of them sold out in Feb 2020. This bike has only been ridden for about 1000km and is in excellent shape. Never dropped. It's a full carbon frame, including the fork. Comes with a brand new super durable and comfortable Stan's Flow wheelset (Flow rims, Stan's Neo Hubs, and Sapim double butted spokes). With a 29mm inner rim width you can conquer any trail with the right MTB tires, or make it a plush urban/road/touring weapon. It will fit up to 2.4" MTB tires. Price is firm. This is not the season to hesitate on the bike of your dreams! This is an excellent entry in to owning a carbon bike, and the perfect all in one bike for the minimalist rider. Note: My saddle and clipless pedals currently on the bike aren't included. I have a new WTB touring saddle that I will include. I do not have spare pedals, and these bikes never come with pedals anyhow.

Yes it's in the stand non drive side. That's because the crankset bolt is non drive side, and I'm about to make sure the BB dust covers are clean and free of grease
